Hull City Away Sold Out
Wednesday, 22nd Oct 2014 12:09

Yet another sold out away day as Saints great backing on the road continues with a long haul trip up to Kingston Upon Hull.

There might be a few empty seats at St Mary's this season, but on the road its a different matter as Saints sell out their allocation for a Premier league away game for the fifth consecutive time this season.

I have at times complained about the failure to sell out St Mary's over the past year, but something I cant moan about is the superb backing given to Saints by those supporters who travel away to support the club.

Hull City will be our fifth league game on the road this season and its the fifth sell out, add to that the 5,000 who travelled to Arsenal and another 1,000 or so who went to Millwall in the Capital One Cup and its brilliant to see so many follow Saints away from home.

Next away game though is perhaps the most important of the season so far, the trip to Stoke City could open the path for a run to Wembley for a final, with it being half term week hopefully there will be a bigger following than might otherwise have been, so if you are still deciding to go up to the Brittannia or not, get your tickets quickly before they sell out.

For those who can't get a ticket, I suggest you support Sunderland away - much better value for money!

Sorry to bring it up, but it's an economic question too.

Here in Bordeaux (3rd in Ligue 1 at the mo) the ground's empty, and you can forget away trips.

The British economy is picking up slowly, and peeps have a little bit of diposable - when your team's doing well that's what you'll spend it on.

Just make sure you don't vote Labour and turn Britain into Hollande's France. You'll regret it bad.

I live 22 miles from Hull and thought this is one game I and my son will be able to go to and not cost a bomb. Somehow missed out and did not keep my eye on the website. So disappointed. Went last year. Still, have got tickets for the Stoke Capital One game.

Thanks Nick. I will try the travel option and then just end up sitting with the Hull fans - which could be interesting.
