I have not enjoyed going to the away matches we've sold out this year. Our away following isn't big enough to have passionate fans who want to get loud and support the boys, so when we sell out it's just people who see it as a nice day out. I am sick of being told to sit down, where's the spirit? People complain saying they've spent money and travelled all this way, when everyone else has spent the same amount so if we want to stand we will. Too many fans using away games as a 'day out' rather than to get behind the boys in what could be our last few Premier League matches. Tell me if you don't agree, I know the players will want max turn outs no matter what.
Do you think an Arsenal Fan TV style YouTube channel for the jacks would be a good idea? I'm a football journalism student and it's what we looked into last lecture, be a great thing to have surely?
I attend all away games but never really make it to many home games, just the odd couple when i'm visiting Swansea. (Live in midlands, England). Is the EL, EU 1,2,3 sort of area the best atmosphere? I should make it to Leicester at home, hence why i'm asking.
A much better tactical performance (first 60 odd minutes) helped to highlight our weaknesses. Still shaky defence, I know we were unfortunate with the manner of the goals but any defence that concedes 4 obviously needs improvement. We lack quality in key attacking areas. We had plenty of chances before the downfall in the match to grab a goal or two which would have made for a different second half. In my opinion we need two centre backs, and definitely a new striker as Llorente is very hit and miss and the only real option we have( Borja is just awful and McBurnie too inexperienced to rely on in a relegation battle). I enjoyed watching Swansea play a more tactically aware performance however quality was the factor that made the difference.
