I would, your opinion of J W P is now, and for that matter ever was, frankly ridiculous. That said it’s hard to argue that his career hasn’t taken a drastic downturn since he left. I imagine that he consoles himself by checking his bank balance however, where no doubt he finds that his annual income probably far exceeds your lifetime earnings.

He doesn`t strike me as that type of person , personally I think he`s an honourable bloke ,(never any sh1t about him any off field activities) who probably just wants to play football.

J. Ward-Prowse on 07:01 - Dec 1 with 862 views | City_boy | JWP is a good pro, but not surprised at his lack of game time. Would I have him back, probably not. Would I prefer to have time back rather than some of the dross we spent his £25m sell on fee, yes. [Post edited 1 Dec 10:46]

The best dead ball player in the world, bar none, hasn't scored from a free kick for years. West Ham realised what a slow, sideways passing, donkey they had bought from us and benched him. They then loaned him out to another club (N Forest), who's director of football must be as thick as you. It wasn't long before he got found out at NF and was summarily benched again. His next permanent move will be to a Championship club, hopefully not us.

It would be worth having him sign for us again just to see your meltdown on here, sir. [Post edited 1 Dec 14:04]

I agree it would having him sign for us again. You make more sense than Rusty.

Get him back.. Him alongside Downes would be similar to the Romeu JWP partnership that was so succesful. Would give us solidity and Premier league experience which is lacking. Obviously set pieces would be a bonus too.

With considerable hesitation, I agree. He's an upgrade on other partners for Downes. He can clean Tyler Dibling's boots whilst telling him the grass isn't greener (though the pay is fantastic).

I bet Rusty the Clown loves you lot. You make his decisions seem almost normal.
