Just seen his hat trick, not bad. There seems a few good young players playing for our youth. Start bringing them into the first team, sit them on the bench and feed them in.
What was he thinking of when he selected the team yesterday? 4 Wing Backs 1 Central Defender No Centre Forward Leaves Ramsdale on the bench. Onuachu on the bench after him starting to score. Bella-Kotchap if he isnt going to play him why sit him on the bench? Wood,he has looked good when he has played, left on the bench. Grønbæk and Archer left on the bench till the 86 min. Smallbone what was he supposed to do,at 82min? Lallana why did we even get him ? Sugawara must just be confused as to what he has to do. All this in a game that should have given us another win and a place in the 5th Round of the FA Cup. I have watched Saints for a long time now but I must confess I have rarely seen such a mess. Come to think of it I cant remember Saints closing a whole stand for a 4th round FA Cup tie.
The little we could get out of this season was decent Cup Run and what do we get,4 full backs and no central striker. What did he expect,Sulemana and KWP to run the ball into the net? Why Ramsdale not in goal? We have managed to pull another Managerial Joker out the pack. Get this season over its painful.
I would just like to thank Adam Armstrong for his goal on a memorable day at Wembley. Alongside Shane Longs goal against Liverpool it has to go down as one of the most memorable goals scored for us. Wishing you all the best,Alan ,you always gave 100% for Saints.
He seems to be all over the place at the moment, his team selections and subs confuse me. Am I being too harsh? To be honest I think I am losing the plot this season. How our season ticket holders feel I dread to think.
Has it ever been this bad? Last night I saw Saints control the game for a hour, then the inevitable happens we let a goal in and go to pieces. What is obvious is we need a goalscorer,if we had one of those we could have gone 3 up against United. Yes we have some poor players but they are not all poor. Buy a striker, look at Chris Woods at Forest, 33,bought for 15 million from Newcastle, has scored 27 goals now. There must be some golden oldie out perhaps we should ask Lawrie to have a look for one.
If you don't take your chances you get punished. We just don't have a goalscorer. Tall Paul worked his socks off but just can't score. I liked the endeavour today. Bowen was the difference.
I hope any ground improvements go well. For us Saints fans I want St. Marys to embrace the heart that was at the Dell. We are all feeling down at the present but Saints are our club and the fans are the life and soul of it. The Dell to me was like a family. It was a funny old place with its ammonia filled loos, and what felt like sawdust falling on you when you stood under the West stand and above stamped their feet. The Terraces could tell some stories, but what about those games and those players? We had to move to improve and now our stadium is better. The old faces are still there with the young. Forget the failings of the Manager and Owners, they will come and go. The Loyal fans will still be there because they are the soul of the club. I'm proud of being a Saints fan,my most memorable moment was in 76,winning the FA Cup with my best mate sobbing and making my shoulder wet at the final whistle at Wembley. To the players ,win or lose tomorrow, just give it your best effort. I have my brick in the wall at St Marys, its not going anywhere . If things dont go our way just sing this loud and clear
