Wolves Game Matchday Thread on 17:10 - Feb 11 by grumpy | That was down to Jones, when Wolves went down to 10 men he should have organized his team to take advantage. Nobody seemed to know what they were supposed to do. Just look at those subs Alcaraz Substituted for Ariboat 79'minutes yes! that's our goalscorer who was playing well Onuachu Substituted for Adams at 74 one forward for another and leaving us with no big man in the box. Perraud Substituted for Lyancoat 74'minutes WHY? Lavia Substituted forS Armstrongat 89'minutes,Armstrong should have started and Lavia has gone backwards since Jones arrived. JWP passing his free kicks. HE HAS TO GO. |
Jones has just said in his post-match interview: "We were excellent" and 'front-footed".. "We were everything we wanted to be". Apparently, we only lost because Wolves went down to 10 men. He really is a lunatic. [Post edited 11 Feb 2023 17:43]

Wolves Game Matchday Thread on 17:10 - Feb 11 by 1885_SFC | A truly astonishing result - if you're a Wolves fan. A man down after 27 minutes... and a goal down... but you have a top manager who knows what he's doing, got a team who will give you their all, and quality all the way through the team. Contrast that to a gimp who picks 'Janny B' and the likes of Maitland-Niles ahead of better players in your squad and it's not hard to see how we grabbed defeat from the jaws of victory. The ten men came back to win because they are everything we're not... everything. Nobody wrote Jones's death warrant today other than him. Ge out of my club you f*cking cheap, scruffy fraud. |
And take Bednarek with you

Wolves Game Matchday Thread on 17:14 - Feb 11 by SFC_Referee | As much as todays display was much better than last weeks or any previous games we’ve had for a while, it just ain’t good enough! As from the hour after they went down to 10 men, we’d managed to go from 11V10, being all over them, having soo many chances compared to their few and actually playing some great football! To ending up loosing 2-1! As everyone was playing so well up until their first goal with absolutely nobody playing poorly, yet bednerak just tops it all off with that own goal. As how he’s playing over Calleta Car just makes no sense at all ! As today for most of the game we really didn’t look like that bad of a team, with all 3 of our new signings looking really good, but unfortunately just a mere 3 points from 8 games ain’t good enough one bit. And unless we however we get in is some sorta miracle worker then we are well and truly done for! As you don’t get many games giving you a better chance at 3 points than this one. As it reminded me of England at the euros and World Cup, being all over their opponents for a majority of the game, easily being able to win with just that one more goal with all the chances we had, yet because we don’t our opponents get one back and get into it, and then to top it all off get a late last minute winner/win on penalties! Although it sure was nice to see a ref actually make a player properly pay for the dissent they gave! |
It's about game management - and that's where Jones is an utter cock. When they had a man sent off, Jones should have changed from 5 at the back and stuck two wide men on the wings to stretch Wolves and make them run. Instead, he carried on - and we had one shot on goal second half... one shot. Even JWP decided today, of all days, that he wasn't going to go for goal from free-kicks but instead, try some w@nky training ground routine that failed miserably. Jones's tactic today was to lump it up to Tall Paul and maybe, just maybe, we'll get lucky with the scraps. As for his substitutes, yet again, what a totally baffling episode they were. The wrong players going off & players, other than Stuart Armstrong (who should have started) coming on who offer us nothing. Jones is a fraud, a cheat, a chancer. He deserves to go - if only for playing chief brown-noser 'Janny B' ahead of the likes of DCC and ABK. In truth, Jones couldn't manage a w@nk.

Completely this Totally inept We should have been dragging them all over the place after the red card but oh no Then wolves class manager taught him a lesson by affecting the game with subs and tactics while we fumbled around and dropped deeper It’s the predictability that kills you Sulemaana was a bright spot how long have we needed someone to drive us forward, let’s eniiy him for 15 games Bye Nathan you fraud
Wolves Game Matchday Thread on 18:31 - Feb 11 with 1398 views | MytchettSaint | Is he still in post? For 5 minutes before they scored you could sense it. I thought Ralph was hopeless at changing things. I can’t make the next two home games, I think if he’s still here after those I’m going to write the rest of the season off and vote with my bum not being on my seat.

Agreed. Ankerson is an arrogant, smarmy g!t, that's why he likes Jones. Semmens is a tw@t, they appoint a manager out of his depth, they think they can sign unknown players and turn them into champions league winners. The whole lot of them are idiots and are destroying our club. [Post edited 11 Feb 2023 18:41]

Wolves Game Matchday Thread on 18:54 - Feb 11 with 1285 views | Mrangry25 | I am sick to death of watching the welsh tvvat jumping around waving his arms all over the place. He is clueless and tbh I really can’t be bothered to get anymore annoyed than I am atm, I am sure he will get another stay of execution as SR really do not have the boll***s to put him and us out of our misery. 15 points from 22 games and we need at least another 23 from 16!!, the maths don’t stack up. Still I am sure we will see much more entertaining games in the championship.

"Still I am sure we will see much more entertaining games in the championship." Do you really think so? Unless there are major changes we'll do well to reach say 15th in the Chapionship. I mean, we struggled and were lucky against Blackpool. Grimsby will be an interesting game .................
