The realisation and subsequent Cardiff meltdown is underway on 14:09 - Nov 5 by ItchySphincter | 😂😂😂😂😂😂. We sell all our tickets for out little stadium in the PL. I had this misfortune of visiting yours a few times in the PL, including the time you picked up some of your first PL points against Man City, and other than a few diehards singing “we’ll always be blue” it was remarkably empty and quiet. If you’ve ever been you will not truthfully be able to dispute a word that I’ve said. There is nothing to suggest that at any point in your crappy history that you’ve ever been a bigger club than little old Swansea. Cardiff is egg, pure and simple. |
Egg? I barely know anyone who actually watches rugby, none under 60 for sure. In fact, if there was rugby going on, most people I know would leave cardiff for the weekend, clubs and pubs ruined by the valley commandos and the sheep from west Wales, Neath, lllsneli etc…nightmares. What do cardiff blues get, 4000? When we were getting 32k most weeks that was more people than we’re watching all the top rugby clubs put together. What do the ospreys get nowadays? 5000?

For a reason…people don’t want to support Tan anymore, his time is up. Even those I know that have gone for 20 yrs have had enough

It's deeply amusing watching the likes of Annis turn on Tan now, when not that long ago he was exhorting people to show how much they "loved" Vinny T when there was a brief moment when it looked like he would withdraw funding.

It all ties into the Bassey mentality. They're convinced that they're a massive club and an important Global city, when in reality they're a bit of a backwater. Try to impart some reality to them and they react poorly.

Christ alive if cardiff is a backwater what the 🟨 is swansea? Not to be too rude but the place looks like splott rd on a bad day and it’s the main centre, is there anything still open down there? Town centre is a shambles

Sustained success? You couldn’t last more than a season. Don’t get this councourse city fc obsession with “Bellers”, he’s a recipe for disaster. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

Mostly true, but we don't go strutting around claiming differently do we? Cardiff's OK as a city, but that's about it. The way the locals carry on you'd swear they'd be twinning themselves with Paris or Berlin any time now. Swansea has much nicer surroundings. Bristol has far better amenities. Cardiff is stuck in the middle.

The realisation and subsequent Cardiff meltdown is underway on 15:09 - Nov 5 by Vincent_Vega | Not though are you. The only reason you had bigger top end attendances is that you built a bigger ground and had a nice cash injection from your chums at the FAW for that extension (I like to call it the red reminder) Your attendances crashed harder than a Time PC. The further along each attempt of you lot trying to stay up with the exception of the big 6 coming to town, the lower the attendances were. Unfortunately we don't know how you would've done in successive PL seasons as well you ain't done it yet (big club mind) It's like saying Barnsley is a bigger club than pompey because their ground holds more and they can fill it when Manure, Liverpool come to town. Misses the point really does it not? |

I’m not so sure about Bristol, I used to live there for about 5 yrs in the 00’s. It’s ok and used to attract a few more bands (the calling academy but it was a dire venue) and corporate business etc but I don’t think that’s the case anymore. Cardiff is rapidly changing, we still have old Victorian arcades and old streets mixed with shiny new. I like the blend. There’s stuff being built now by the station I’m not even sure what it is but it looks good. Swansea is in a good spot but I can be in Bristol in 30 mins, Brecon in 30 or the gower in 30 almost, not that I go to the Gower much these days.

All the season tickets were sold out, 16k of them, we know that people can't go to every game and so the 2000 on general sale were boosted by whcihever ST's didn't go. Sometimes the away end wasn't sold out so we could put a few hundred more up there too. We did have some plastics who bought ST's andonly went to the "big games and sold the rst too. Otherwise the home end was sold out nearly every game for 7 years. Lets look at now though, we had a terrible start to the season, which we expected, you had a far better first 3-4 games yet our crowds have remained stable and your's have plummeted. Which is better do you think, having roughly 15k loyal support or having 17-18k season tickets where nearly half of them walk away as soon as times get tough? If you get relegated, how many ST's do you think you'll sell next season? At least you can see what's going on at your club. I don't mind you coming on here for bit of penis waving but at least you are more realistic with it than that esteemed Cardiff aufor....

The realisation and subsequent Cardiff meltdown is underway on 10:05 - Nov 6 with 898 views | wobbly | Big decision for us today. Cardiff have Huddersfield, who are just a couple of points ahead of us and just outside the playoffs. If we win and they lose, we go above them. So, do we want Huddersfield to win 3-0 or 5-0 today?

The realisation and subsequent Cardiff meltdown is underway on 21:58 - Nov 5 by bennytheblue | Annis has been slating Tan for years quite openly, partic about his shocking choice of CEO’s. |
He was waving a Malaysian flag when they came on board, literally pictured doing so. When they floated the idea of turning red in exchange for investment, then the fans held a meeting and rejected it, it was swiftly taken off the table. Then Annis along with Gwyn Davies were quoted in WoL that they are all for it and it’s about time that they see some success and that a few fans have blown it, they want to show Tan they love him. After it was printed Annis quickly got all mentions of it removed from the internet by contacting WoL, he is pally with a few there. Gwyn’s comments are still there I think along with others. When you got promoted he also said “I’ve been supporting long enough so won’t boycott this season, I deserve one season in the PL”. Zero credibility when it comes to slating Tan I’m afraid.

As for Benny I have never heard a bloke spout so much nonsense, one of those people who claims he done everything & knows everyone ( nearly every post he claims he’s been there & done it). In reality we all know he’s a sad individual who spends hour after hour on a team he doesn’t support message board

Isn’t it just. Not that anyone acknowledges it’s existence these days. It’s a bit like the forgotten scrolls. That’s why I have no time for these fans claiming to be so downtrodden by a bloke they welcomed in with open arms and openly invited him to do what he wanted with them, in return for a few pieces of silver. They knew what they were getting and openly sold their souls to the devil. Now they have spent their silver, they want their souls back. Sorry. No refunds.
