They deserve to be level at least. SO MUCH FREAKIN SPACE in the middle. Cork is doing the work of 3 men!

The Official Oxford United v Swansea City FA Cup Sponsored By Emirates Thread on 12:52 - Jan 10 by monmouth | He might yet get us knocked out of two FA cups against lower league opposition. That's something for the cv. I can fully understand why the ref gave that from his angle. that 'tackle' was insane. |
Total school boy error from Bartley and we've been very Shakey at the back.
The Official Oxford United v Swansea City FA Cup Sponsored By Emirates Thread on 12:54 - Jan 10 with 2858 views | Aquinas | It was a pen. That f*cking idiot Gomis stood on his foot and was about to clatter into him anyway even if Bartley didn't decide to slide in like a w*nker. Mcburnie should have started instead of Gomis. Dinosaur face Bartley shouldn't be on the pitch let alone captain.

The Official Oxford United v Swansea City FA Cup Sponsored By Emirates Thread on 12:55 - Jan 10 with 2829 views | Morganator100 | HT Verdict Nordfeldt - An excellent goalkeeper who on this performance will be pushing Fabianski for a 1st team place. Shephard - has had a steady game considering he is 3rd choice. Amat - hasn't really shown anything to worry FF and Ash. Bartley - he looks more a 2nd division player than the Oxford players. Terrible distribution. Tabanou - looked good going forward but rocky in defensive role. Not helped by Montero. Cork - has looked solid in midfield, A rock. Grimes - again trying to do too much. Pass the pall, do the basics. Shelvey - trying too hard. Always looking for the speculative. Emnes - has looked our best threat, always gives 100% in the shirt. Montero - a goal, missed a sitter, doesn't work back to help out full back. Gomis - is he playing? Then again has had no ball from midfield.

The Official Oxford United v Swansea City FA Cup Sponsored By Emirates Thread on 12:50 - Jan 10 by union_jack | This is what gets my goat up. We're into injury time and get a free kick and what do we do, pass the ball back, and the whistle goes. Why not put it into the box and give ourselves a chance, slim as it may be! |

The Official Oxford United v Swansea City FA Cup Sponsored By Emirates Thread on 12:55 - Jan 10 with 2819 views | BLAZE | It was a dive at the end of the day so deserved a yellow, especially if Grimes gets one when there was more contact. That said it doesn't absolve Bartley of any guilt, he lunged in and got nowhere near the ball. Crazy challenge to make in the box

The Official Oxford United v Swansea City FA Cup Sponsored By Emirates Thread on 12:53 - Jan 10 by rWp | Shelvey has been awful watch when Oxford attack he jogs. Grimes also deserves a mention for being lightweight and will not pass the ball always trying to take someone on. When he got booked for a dive he had Gomis and Emmes in space and in shooting positions. Our central midfield have been awful. |
in fairness, gomis was offside.

I think we are getting bullied a bit in midfield and maybe Curt should shake it up a bit at half time. We are shakey at the back and this is understandable so a bit more in control in midfield could ease the pressure and allow us to attack more. We look a threat going forward which is encouraging for the second half.

The clown dived in stupidly, but there didn't seem to be contact, I wish JJS would stop shooting for the sake of shooting, Grimes isn't filling in the gaps on the halfway line either, Shelvey, Cork should be coaching him along, in fact Shelvey needs to tuck in more and challenge, its a banana skin of a game for us though, much as we thought.

The Official Oxford United v Swansea City FA Cup Sponsored By Emirates Thread on 12:44 - Jan 10 by Elward | Said it before, Bartley is a liability |
Yes, been saying the same thing for ages too fella. Plenty of effort and tries but clearly is not up to it. Arsenal got rid when they had the poorest set of center halves in their history! Was an apparent liability at Rangers also. It's staggering he has been here so long and not improved as a player, get rid of him , no where near good enough championship at best. Grimes is also not up to it. I don't care what anyone says, if you can't stand out at this level, you can't stand out plain and simple. I understand there is no fluid play because there are a lot of players and combinations that are in tried or new but the likes of grimes should be taking so,e kind of control and making the most of the opportunity. Shelvey is trying but as we all know a goal from him is more luck than judgement, why does he need to smash every single shot?
