Dismantling Stevenage On Tuesday Night Saturday, 19th Feb 2011 19:44 by portvale4ever Stevenage Borough. Precisely the kind of mid-table fodder that we should be ripping apart at Vale Park with considerable ease. Unfortunately for us Gary Roberts starts his three match ban on Tuesday night, surely Exodus Geohaghan won't be reprising his standing-around-doing-nowt-in-midfield role? Sadly I imagine he will slot in next to Griff in the holding midfield roles with Lee Collins moving into central defence alongside Boom Boom and Kris Taylor coming in at Left-Back. Lewis Haldane, Super Doug Loft and Justin Richards will continue as the attacking midfielders, with Tom Pope as the focal point of the attack, although a fit again Marc Richards is definitely in with a shout to start the game. 4-2-3-1. Hopefully Rob Taylor will feature on the bench, although it appears he's joining Louis Dodds and Sean Rigg in the wilderness. Jim Gannon is a weird bloke. Why he has this much faith in Exodus is beyond me. Despite their 1-0 win at Gresty Road today Stevenage have, by and large, been woeful on their travels, losing four of their last six on the road. They're there for the taking, and our push for promotion is getting back on track. Black & Gold Until It's Sold.
