The 58 years ago this week WBA v QPR match thread on 08:33 - Mar 8 with 2969 views | DaBurgh | Apparently playing in our black kit today, so that has to be good for at least 2 goals. So we will hang on for a 1-2 win with a sphincter tightening last 15 mins.

We're like a pan of potatoes that came to the boil a while ago but are now currently turned down and just simmering on a low light. Last time I was there we lost and when you exit the ground as an away fan you have to go on a walking tour of West Bromwich, You can't just leave the away end you have to walk all the way around the ground or the police will batton charge you for fun. The 58 years ago this week WBA v QPR match thread on 11:57 - Mar 8 with 2582 views | StreathamRanger | I was in Leeds last week and went to the Leeds West Brom game. John Swift was rubbish, baggies fans had little patience for him. He does love playing against us though. The one most likely to cause us trouble is Mikey Johnson. Fantastic player who looks capable of the step up to premier league. They're solid in defence too. I'd take a 1-1 if offered.

That's another bit of weird footballese, isn't it? Presumably, the only way a 1-1 (or indeed any result) could be 'offered' would be if the game were rigged from the start?

Have to disagree with you about Johnstone. He is not good enough for the Celtic 1st team never mind the prem. Mind you, he does have trickery, which as we know is one thing Dunne cannot deal with. Always likes to cut inside for a shot like Chair does. Very predictable in that, but still manages to execute it successfully quite often as he did against us at HQ last season. Cook needs to be very vigilant, which post injury he hasn't been. I expect a 2 or 3-1 defeat.

That's ridiculous. You've got to have a player to pressure the centre backs. I reckon Smyth will play down the middle, but you need to have a centre forward really
