Loans only, not cash deals (apart from Melker).
Wise from the board - don't let LW waste any money and save it for the new manager in the summer.

Did I imagine it or did the club say they were moving away from loans.

Most loans don't come cheap which leaves less in the summer pot though

Of course, but better that we spend less on permanents now then start all over again when LW leaves.
Of course, ideally, LW would have gone by now and a new manager would be in place but it seems that finances don't allow.

Can't believe a word that comes out of the Club Whitey that seems more than obvious.

Lewis O’Brien is eye watering I’m told.

A great believer in taking anything you like to wherever you want to.

Looks like the type of player we need.
Loans come at a price and then add on his wages.
It will get close to £1m I guess.

Let's hope the gates pick up

Harry Jones recalled from his loan spell at Weymouth and had his contract terminated by mutual consent.

Everyday above ground ... Is a good day! 😎

His contract is up in the summer, I expect he has found a club. Don't be surprised if it's Weymouth

I think Coleman is genuine, however our current form and league position, speculation regarding the manager, selling the captain to a "more ambitious" club, probably our best centre half running down his contract and our wage structure isn't going to encourage a lot of players in this country to make permanent moves.

I guess Wright was looking for a better positioned club to match us.

The problem with deadline day business, especially when you aren't pushing for the play offs is you often end up with either very little or overpaying for a player who is way down on your list

Why leave it until the last minute? We were told before the window we had targets lined up. Here we are on deadline day scrabbling for players. It stinks on bad planning.

Just to rub salt into the wound we signed a player and then loan him back. We have not got that luxury. We need players now that keep us in the division.
