Steady, and has hardly put a foot wrong lately. Often seems to be organising and talking. He's stepped up massively in Cook's absence.

Nearly scored again as well.

Never knowingly right.

He had a few injuries and no real consistency in the team. Seemed a bit off it when he came in the team. Another one that Marti's trust really seems to have settled. Now playing to his full potential and is a senior pro in the team. It wasn't long ago that Cook and JCS seemed like our only option.
Well done Foxy. Keep it up.

he was really good tonight so many good blocks and really good positional play. A real leader in this team as well with Cook missing

Fox's performances have gone under the radar since his return.

With both Cook and Morrison both injured at same time after a successful period, and JCS very fragile, we were worried, but first with Dunne and now Edwards, Fox has done incredibly well.

Many of us felt Morgan was an emergency option but he has done so well, you could even believe he has been Cook with his "Fox" disguise on.

Brilliant

He has found his feet and fitness so to speak, have been impressed by Andrews in last 2 matches alongside him.

He's been a really calm head in the back line - but fck me, Edwards is impressive too. He seems to be growing with every game.....

Sure your typing was meant say Edwards

Yes he is a very good player - others didn't want him here.

We got Cook, Morrison still out injured and JCS fragile and Dunne at right back, was a very much needed loan and great work too.

Yes fully agree with OP.
Going under the radar a little bit but not doing much if anything wrong.
He’s been impressive last few weeks . We missed him against Leicester in my opinion

After the Pompey home game I didn’t want him anywhere near the 1st team, but he really turned his form around.

It is easy to underestimate an experienced pro at centre half who knows where to stand in the box to head and clear basic crosses in this league. When he’s up against any pace or dragged out wide, he worries me. He’s doing well though.

I did note that Edwards looks to be really quite quick over the first 5 yards. Really good acceleration. I think this is important when playing with Fox.

Quietly going about his business with a minimum of fuss. It helps that he has Ronnie alongside him to deal with any pace but his assured performances of late have been a pleasant and welcome surprise.

Good calls there, IMO.

That gnarly-old-pro alongside Excellent Young Boy (Glossary alert) combo is pretty decent and probably what we need until all the injuries come back.

Edwards looks like a roll royce of a footballer in the last 2 games, having Fox next to him will really help as he looked a bit lost next to JCS at Leicester

I noticed him arranging our defensive line-up for a free kick in the second half, he seemed to be in charge.
We need that, good man.
Edwards is very impressive, but with him, Fox, Morgan, Lloyd, I think we might be aiming to get into that Welsh cup with European competition through the back door. 'Obviously we are Welsh, look at the names"
Nardi sounds like a word for someone who's pissed off.

Not nearly as bad as so many posters think, yes he had a bad game earlier in the season and cost us but so has most of the players.......you do not get to play as many matches as he has, represented his country and been a pro for a long time if you are a 'pixx poor' player.

Done very well since he has been playing recently and was never as bad as posters posted, a good pro and an asset to the R's. Been important team player since he arrived.

It helps that Pal is playing much better than he was. MF has rarely had to rush over and cover him in the last few games.

He’s been astonishing since returning after the Portsmouth game. So versatile and a very good player to have, very vocal and organises players around him. Like the whole team, improved so much over the last few months?

I'm Paal's biggest critic but I am really pleased to see him improving with every game.
