I thought I'd seen the height of stupidity but I was wrong, how much more stupid can they get?
This doesn't promote inclusivity, it doesn't bring the different ethnicities closer together, it drives us further apart. It can only cause ill feeling. We have 2 dogs and we like to think we are responsible owners. If there are people around who are nervous of dogs we keep them on the lead; if there are dog owners whose dogs are running free, we ket ours off.
Banning dogs because it's better for race relations, utter garbage. It's almost as if they are trying to generate bad feeling between whites and non whites? Almost as if they are looking for a race war. This is so barmy even Monty Python wouldn't have writen it.

I walk through Singleton Park most days. There are plenty of people of diverse ethnic backgrounds around, mainly students going to the university campus, but I cannot recall ever seeing a black dog walker. I did see something unusual at the entrance to the botanical gardens last week in the form of a man of Middle Eastern appearance shouting in Arabic at the top of his voice into his mobile at somebody who had incurred his ire. He was oblivious to the reaction of a nearby dogwalker, who didn't look very happy that the tranquil scene was being disturbed. | | | |

This is the actual report. If you search the pdf for "dog" it appears once. There is no mention of dog free areas appealing to anyone of a different race or religion.
They appeal to me sometimes and I'm a dog owner.
