I think she's so popular because of a lack of competition out there. She's nothing compared to the female artists of the 60s and 70s. She may be a good role model, but that's also extremely boring

Dua Lipa, SZA both headlining the biggest stage in world music this year. Pink has sold out the principality, Beyonce has done so previously and would again a few times over. Madonna is on tour, Adele in Vegas, Rhianna at the superbowl half time show.
Not to my taste but they'll all be considered greats.

I always doubt a singer who states they wrote everything themselves, it’s almost impossible with the over production in the studio, engineers on big money. Anyone can write poetry with even the slightest of talent.
The country is being robbed of its brain and the ability to use it.

Each to their own I suppose , the thing is with the advent of BGT along with you tube etc has created a huge platform for all types of singers to be recognised , even at my age I'm still listening to new music although still being stuck in the past , as you say music is subjective and that will always continue.

Maybe it would help if you watched some of the hundreds of hours of documentaries, movies, YouTube etc and watch her in the process, then voice an opinion?

Excellent stage setting, fireworks, special effects etc but Take That needed all that jazz because they are basically crap.
My wife and her friends and daughters went last night ,little was said in the car when I picked them up ,utter chaos by the way, Olli OK, Take That not so, Fire Works the high light.Its always a bad sign when the likes of Gary Barlow now does shows on cruise ships .
