Needs to be a discussion had.....

The squad we've got are not bottom 3.

We're getting tactically outmanoeuvred at home almost every time we play.

It's not a lack of experience in the team anymore. A lack of firepower, possibly, but we should be better than this.

Edit, perhaps I should have said our starting xi are not bottom 3. I agree, the overall squad is poor.

The squad absolutely is bottom 3, and that’s been painfully obvious for ages.

Bare bones.

This. The table doesn't lie. We have some decent, if over-rated players, and a plethora of L1 players...at best. Don't think GA will survive if we get another tonking in the next home game - but that old chestnut of "who would do better" comes to mind.

Ainsworth on 17:24 - Sep 30 with 29908 viewstraininvain

Home form is certainly bottom three but our away form suggests otherwise. Been saying for a while that we’ll go down unless Ainsworth can find a way to play on the front foot at home.

We'll probably get a win at Leeds. It's the kind of thing we do. Players don't seem to be able to handle the pressure of playing at Loftus Road. Fair play to those of you who keep turning up week after week. I'd usually have done two or three games by this point in the season but I've just got no motivation to go.

Not having that mate.

Chair
Willock
Dykes

All decent championship players

Midfield we are weak..Field about the only decent player we have with Colback out.

Cook, Paal, JCS, Morgan and Dunne... all experienced championship players.

Bergovic, experienced keeper. (Crap distribution)

Our first xi should be able to hold it's own

I can understand the frustration and the discussion, but I would like to see him be given a bit longer. Another squad rebuild, redundancy payments etc. Let's not panic quite yet!

Very limited manager.

He calls himself a ‘builder’. He had very little impact last season because he can’t make an impact. What he builds is good dressing rooms with pros who are capable of managing it and games. Nothing wrong with that but he’s at a level too high. There’s a reason he was at Wycombe so long.

He cares about the club, he’s done a great job on the culture, done really well with the acquisitions given the sh1t he inherited, but any time we come up against a manager with a bit of tactical acumen, we’re going to lose.

Didn’t go today, so can’t appreciate the awfulness but just want to remind people it‘s expensive to sack a manager and most of you though we‘d get relegated anyway.

Most of us thought we'd be relegated because Ainsworth is our manager.

Ainsworth is bottom 1. He was always a lazy and terrible choice. If he hasn’t once played for us, he’d be nowhere near the managers job. Pisspoor.

Scooters, Tunes, Trainers and QPR.

But Chair, Willock and Dykes have scored precisely one goal between them this season and we are very close to the anniversary of the last time Willock made a game changing contribution, sadly.

We are toothless.

Willock, someone must be able to get him firing again.... 😬

Personally would like to see someone play off Dykes, possibly Chair as a proper number 10.

Aghhhh.... we're better than this. I know we are. So frustrating.

But surely the question is whether the manager is getting the best out of the attacking options at his disposal?

I would suggest that he’s not at the moment and hasn’t found a way to get the team playing at home since he arrived. Away from home is a different story but that’s usually a backs against the wall job.

It's been crap for so long that we got all excited off the back of two scrappy draws. But today's performance is inexcusable.

Yes, we've got a poor squad, but we've still got some decent players at this level, and a good manager could still get a tune out of them. Ironically, Ainsworth can't. Wild thing, you make my heart sink.
