Morton House - Who's Who 11:31 - Mar 5 with 13565 viewsUpTheDaleNotForSale

With the recent article in the Athletic, where Matt Southall divulged lots of new information (including the fact that Morton House 'will take control [of RAFC]' we know they will welcome plenty of public scrutiny and interest from fans of the club they are aiming to purchase.

One of the most important decisions in ANY business is who you work with, who are your directors, and who acts as your advisors.

With that in mind, we've started a bit of a 'who's who' thread on social media of the main characters and some of their history. It can be found here:

We're also curious to know... is this Faisal Safouane

We understand if Faisal Safouane doesn't want to speak to the media, as we know Morton House have a history of working with 'self confessed recluses' (tm Alexander Jarvis about Andy Curran) but with a potentially protracted legal action by his company about to be played out in the media, some of the bigwigs at Argos would probably be interested in any key updates.

All of these people may be aware of Faisal's amazing ability to run a high footfall Argos store and fit in a multi million pounds payroll company at evenings and weekends (as well as finding time to potentially run a professional football club), but with links to some of the people in that thread, as well as others that could still come out, we'd be amazed if he isn't going against some of their employment terms.

Argos / Sainsburys wouldn't want to be connected publicly to several failed businesses, HMRC investigations, homophobia, drugs, guns, bigotry etc would they?

You would also think that the Argos General Manager who had responsibilities for carrying out effective recruitment when Faisal started his first job at Argos would be interested. He's called Zak Safouane.... Hang on a minute!

Between Huchen Karma, Edcase & 'anonymous' UTDNFS, you almost have to admire the efforts of the 'troll community' on behalf of Southall, Morton House or others.

Different names, different topics, but the same themes and disdain for Dale, the trust or the new board. Its almost laughable. What they don't realise is how obvious their agenda is... if the legal case for MH was so strong, they wouldn't need to be trying to create divides, sow discontent and seeds of doubt. They'd just let their legal case do the talking. I'm not saying its the same as what Southall and his cronies allegedly did at Charlton when it went west, but its very VERY similar.

Its noticeable that, despite disagreements amongst the fanbase at the min about RS, fans on the pitch, starting XI etc, everyone can still smell these trolls' BS and unite behind them. Even the fans that clearly don't like the new board would prefer them to Morton House.

What kind of puerile clown tries to make fun of, and humiliate a man who is trying his absolute best, along with others, to try and stabilise a community asset, a league football club, that was brought to its' knees by conspirators and ne'er do wells' and a few sad chancers who had big ideas, loud voices but a complete dearth of ethics.

Simon Gauge is a man of integrity and is trusted 100% by the people he speaks for. I wouldn't expect you to understand that, because it's anathema to you and your fellow band of would-be mountebanks. You won't succeed in driving a wedge between any of us, so save your sour attitude and spiteful comments for HMRC - or similar body. They will be delighted to hear everything you have to say.

Your attempts to steal our club from under our noses has failed thus far and you know it, and I daresay your futile attempts to save face by dragging decent, thoroughly honourable people through the Court system will also spectacularly backfire, making you all pariahs forever and advertise to the world at large what skunks you really are.

When you've all buggered off to Dubai or some other exiles favourite haven, we will fight on and enjoy our club like we always did and will continue to do.

Yep, not pretty some weeks, frustrating other weeks and joyous on many other occasions - but whatever we see, it is infinitely better than having any of you and your associates parking your cars or entering our property in your flip-flops or swaggering to the local chippy looking for the avocado dip. (For future reference, we call it mushy peas)

You'd be better off saving your energy and stop posting your toxic tripe on here.

Safouane is going to have to run and run well.

He's got a number of people asking him very awkward questions:

1. The EFL.
2. The Athletic - declining to comment.
3. Companies House
4. HM Revenue and Customs

Safouane is listed on Companies House as a 38-year-old Briton but has no apparent digital footprint. Rochdale supporters, eager for further information, discovered a Faisal Safouane listed on LinkedIn, working as a store manager at Argos.

The Athletic asked Safouane if he was the same person but, according to Southall, declined to comment on that and other questions put forward. Safouane’s email address at Morton House is spelt as “Faisal” rather than the “Faical” registered as Companies House.

Safouane’s business interests also extend to the ownership of Coleman Management Services Limited, a management consultancy firm launched in March 2020. He took control a day after the 78-year-old Courtnell had relinquished her stake in April 2020.

Coleman Management Services was this week given notice that it would be struck-off the register and dissolved unless overdue accounts could be published. The company’s address is a residential flat in Slough.
The Athletic has made numerous attempts to speak with Safouane this week. “He’s not taking interviews I’m afraid,” said Southall, who added Safaoune had submitted an application for the EFL’s owners’ and directors’ test.

Someone better tell him that if Coleman Management Services Limited doesn't get those accounts filed, it will be struck off.......

Is it too early for a 'post of the year' competition?

Frustrating, annoying, gutting in equal measure so far this season? Yes. But I'd rather support a struggling (even non league) Dale in good hands, paying our way and working for the community than a 'higher up the table' Dale spending money we don't have and acting as a launderette for illicit money club any day of the week.

It's a great post.

And what Matthew Southall forgets is that after the shenanigans of last summer, behind Simon Gauge the individual there is a board of directors.

Behind that board of directors there are club employees.

Behind all of those things is a Supporters Trust and a shedload of fans.

Fan-owned, fan-led and community based.

No-one wants Matthew Southall. No-one.

Southall can't get his thick bald head around that concept mind. He must think that one day he will walk in to Rochdale and be part of our club.

Charlton fans have demonstrated him to be a toxic 71 day charlatan who nearly grounded their club.

Matthew was fined £21,000 for unlawful Companies Act behaviour:

I presume the dog has its own hair, pays relevant money towards the puppies' upkeep (regardless of bitch), hasn't tried renovating the kennel with the cats' money, and isn't creating fake profiles on crufts forums to try and stay relevant?

If so, I'd rather have the pooch in charge of Dale than Matthew. (so long as its not called Jingles
or Puggles). Speaking of which, can you take pet dogs on the run in Dubai?

Southall determination to takeover the Dale may be is desperation for money, it cannot be cheap living in Dubai with no obvious income. He is facing being financial issues in relation to his or his other half's property, he still owes Bassini the loan for his attempted takeover of Charlton despite his best efforts to pass the debt onto Charlton's books. He lost his cash cow when he was kicked out of Charlton, so he needs the Dale to provide his income. I imagine he is sat there in Dubai, saying I can the purchase cost on the club, i can pay myself a salary, charge the club consultancy fees, pay for my house, I wonder how many range rovers can i buy and i can use the club to pay off my creditors, whilst saying "I need to takeover them". This besides using the club to provide an income for the other shysters, through loans and payments. Then when we have bankrupted them, we can walk a way and let the club fold, then look for the next host to feed on.

I look at Southall and think want a complete and utter arrogant sh*t, with a delusional approach to life, in that he thinks people want him, like and will welcome him to the club and will believe his utter BS, he has all the personalty of dog sh*t. I could imagine him sitting in the main stand on match with Curran in a empty stadium, with no fans attending games and saying the must like me.

Matthew Southall doesn't live in Dubai.

Matthew Southall lives on Leigh Road in Worsley.

For a man with no discernible income he has a very expensive lifestyle and no obvious sign of wealth.

Charlton fans are watching every move. One Charlton fan even has been through his bins, such is the determination to bring to light the impact he had on the SE7 club.

Had Alexander Jarvis not been so indiscreet Southall may have been able to lurk in the shadows and pull the strings.

Fortunately Captain Sabotage spilled the beans on everything and everyone and the rest is history.
