Just spoken to the 60 year old wife of my QPR supporting mate. She was thrilled by her first taste of the match day experience last Saturday. This included being in the cross fire of some high jinks after the game in the Conningham, which led to her being cut across the face by a flying glass.

She’s needed stitches and has a six inch scar.

She’s ok though and is now able to stop shaking intermittently.

In case someone on LFW knows anyone involved, can you please pass them my commendation for the size of their testicles.

Poll: Who do we want out of the way?

We were in there on Saturday and saw it all happen, was a disgrace, young QPR fans, all late teens early 20's fighting against each other, quite a few people just stood trying to watch the rugby at the bar were injured. Never seen trouble in there before so was a real shock, was glad I didn't have my kid with me

Walking back to the station from Bramall Lane the other week, saw a bunch of lads of similar age looking like they were going to kick off. As we went past realised it was in-fighting Rangers. Pathetic.

Too much nosebag and lager no doubt.

What was the Prem game where Barton was sent off for retaliating ? Leicester?

I was sat in the lower school end with my ST neaghbour who had brought his nephew and it all kicked off between the Pro Bartons and Anti Bartons. Loads of kids saw it. Depressing.

QPR fans had a fight between each other after the game in Wigan a couple of weeks ago as well in a pub by the station

Sorry to hear that mate. Bizarre that it was all Rangers. Remember though, self-styled 'chaps' at the football are always telling us that they only ever row with like-minded folk, and it doesn't impact upon normal people who find themselves in the vicinity when it all goes off'. In the same way it doesn't impact normal punters when their wan ky behaviour leads to early kick-offs, dry trains, restricted away allocations, restricted travel arrangements, escorts that take you half way round Britain, the main argument for opposing terraces being reintroduced, and a drain on police resources.

I hope your friend's okay and the tw ats involved get done.

Thats shite news. Hope she is OK.

A good few years back I was in a pub in Neasden chatting to my ex when a lad threw a glass which missed his intended victim and smashed right above our heads. When I looked up her face was covered in claret.

After washing her down thankfully it was only a small nick over the eye which bled like fu(k!

Never get the need for weapons of any kind. COWARDS.

Do we have growing factions within our ranks now? Nothing worse than in-fighting.

Dont know why we bother. .... but we do!

Meanwhile, on the other side of the world...first time I've heard of this happening there.

As I was walking along the Uxbridge Road after the game on Saturday there was a group of lads who had been in the Ellerslie walking along, continually looking over their shoulders, acting really edgy, and saying things like " ... don't look at them .... keep walking ... stick together " etc. I kept looking round to see if there were any Brum on the march but I couldn't see anything that looked dodgy. As we turned off they headed on in the direction of the Conningham. I wonder if this was a planned thing.

Anyway, sorry to hear the original story. That sort of thing can be really harrowing. I hope she's okay.

I am still Steve but no longer in Dagenham.

Yeah this is them, they started on two lads that were walking down Bloemfontein Avenue who clearly didnt want any bother. Later saw them on Uxbridge Road looking for trouble too.

Not condoning violence of any kind but the Russians have got it right (French Euro's aside) by meeting up in woods and fists only. Doesn't involve innocent people and is more of a mark of how tough you are.
Cowards use weapons and IMO the more dangerous the weapon the more cowardly the person. In South America they use guns ffs. I bet they'd s**t their pants and blubber for mummy if they were in a situation where they had a gun pointed at them and couldn't do anything in return.

Anyways, hope the lady from the Conny is OK. Probably won't go to a game again which is sad. Well done them.

I remember that when we were 3-0 down and all hope lost in the '86 Milk Cup Final, Notting Hill R's and Shepherd's Bush R's started fighting with each other. I stood there in disbelief.

There was an occasional internal fan skirmish involving Notting Hill in the 70’s.

The youngs uns seem to be really into this, like a nostalgia trip. Someone behind me at Pompey kept trying to grief us for not singing loud enough and how we "clearly weren't at Sheff Utd". I turned round and he was a proper child, identikit Stone Island hoolie ensemble, foaming at the mouth like a proper pastiche

I don't think the bugle helps. Seen lads I'm sure are no older than 15 hoovering it up.

And because of these Herbert's, we'll most probably have to use those horrible plastic cups in the conny from now on.

Ps, I hope your friend is ok, and hopefully this won't put her off attending again

It's a plague baz, from top to bottom, young to old, everyone is on the gear and it's horrid.

Often skip the pub post work on Fridays because the wrong look in a Soho boozer and some chang fuelled minor suit is going to be up in your grill

in a pub in liverpool st two weeks back and there were some young spurs fans doing gear in the toilets with the door wide open and then decided to start on some old drunk guy. was pretty pathetic.

Funny you talk about that game apart from the Sh1t display and the fact jimmy greaves told me to fcuk off the other thing I remember was a massive ruck in our end right before Trevor Hebberd scores the first goal , I actually missed the goal as someone was getting their head wrapped around a flag pole in quite a brutal fashion
If you think about the areas of Notting hill , Ladbroke Grove, white city , bush , Northolt, Hayes and the loons who used to live in those places we really should of had a mob of Millwall & West Ham standards ( not that I’m an advocate of football violence) insteadcmost of them wanted to fight each other , as I’ve said it’s been going on for decades
