Or in other words, can anyone recommend somewhere reasonably priced yet reliable in Swansea I might get Mrs Bear's phone repaired following an incident this morning?

So. After 50 or so hours packed in rice we tried restarting her iPhone last night.

One side of her screen is dark. Other than that all is well. Which is a result given the state it was in last week. Do we owe it to the rice? Was it the power of prayer? Who knows?

I mentioned this to someone at work today and they dropped an iphone in a pint. They used a load of that silica stuff you get inside shoe boxes to dry it out and it worked. I guess it is something you need to do immediately rather than later.

My boy threw my Nexus 6 in the bath. I turned it off and put it in a tupperware of rice and it still works
