Doncaster predictions 12:54 - Sep 12 with 4061 views | DareToCalvin | Always a tough game against any Darren Ferguson side. We have to score first tonight; otherwise if Donny do they will totally timewaste and con the ref into silly fouls by falling over. I think we've been lacking width in all the games I've seen; the attack seems to have been very isolated from the midfield at the moment. Also, after Moore's gaffe despite another strong performance, will Hill bring in Josh? Not sure. We need Keano and Calvin back ASAP. I'd play Moore Raff McGahey Daniels (although McNulty will no doubt start instead; both CH's played very well on Saturday despite the scoreline) Bunney Williams (12) Inman Cannon Williams (11) Done Davies Now's the time to get some confidence back into the players; it's slowly being sucked out of them. A nice morale-boosting win would be perfect tonight. Won't be a high scoring game so I'll go 1-0 Dale. Up the Dale.

Doncaster predictions on 13:54 - Sep 12 with 3967 views | Knowlesy | As much as I like Davies, I wouldn't start him at the moment as he looks so unfit and unable to run half the time. I think Bunney was very poor on Saturday and looked miles off fitness, I think we'd be better putting McNulty at left back (he's looked a lot more steady this season in fairness to him) and having McGahey and Daniels in the middle. This won't happen though and I fully expect the same back 4 as Saturday (maybe raff for Daniels, hopefully) I'd be tempted to play a smaller front line and trying to play it into feet/into the channels like we used to. Moore/Lillis Raff McGahey Daniels McNulty Williams 12 Cannon Rathbone Kitching Williams 11 Done Kitching gets in because I'm not sure what other options we have at the moment without throwing Morley in, Camps still sounds miles away recovering. Upvoted the OP for balance. [Post edited 12 Sep 2017 14:35]

That has to be your back, possibly Jim for Bunney at LB,I wouldn't have Kitching near the starting 11 to be fair I'd be tempted to put Inman in man,Scouse Williams is good enough to run the game in there next to Ollie and Cannon. I just thought everything Kitching did was pedestrian on Sat and so easy to read...

Yeah I was supposed to put McNulty at left back but autopilot took me to Bunney!
Doncaster predictions on 14:52 - Sep 12 with 3835 views | Rosun | This game has echoes of last season's home game with Fleetwood. We went into it on the back of poor run of results despite not playing too shabbily. In the end we ground a result out and it led to us putting a bit of a run together until the slump after the Barrow F.A. cup game. Fingers crossed for something similar (apart from another trip to Barrow and a mid-season slump). [Post edited 12 Sep 2017 14:53]

OP's getting an accidental battering! Davies has scored one goal via a corner and two from the penalty spot... For me that's not enough to be starting him based on those stats alone. I agree that when he's fit and firing he's a big goal threat but for me he's just not offering enough in his general play to warrant it. Maybe if we have 11 players on the pitch that can actually give it a go it'll bring others into play a little more. Maybe I'm dreaming
Doncaster predictions on 16:31 - Sep 12 with 3618 views | Shun | Poor OP! I'd go with: Moore Raff Daniels McGahey McNulty Williams12 Cannon Rathbone Williams11 Done Inman I'd love to see Done centrally rather than out on the wing. Another tough game, but then they're all tough when we're in this form.

Doncaster predictions on 16:52 - Sep 12 with 3546 views | aleanddale | No idea how this will pan out but I am hoping for a Dale 2-1 win via a Davies header in the 78th minute. Done to open the scoring Donny pull one back on 50 mins. Donny have a pen saved by moore 90+5 Dale go on a 15 game unbeaten run and we are top on boxing day.

As you say, DL! We've had some brilliant September evening games these past few years, but last night had a right old-fashioned feel to it, with the conditions at the end making it almost impossible to play cultured football, so it came down to guts, determination, pride and passion Who wanted it? We did!!
