Would you care to elaborate, as most people will have no idea who he is?

I was only joking! I know Eden well, he's Dale through and through and has a great music taste. Have already text him my congratulations and I'm absolutely buzzing for him. Perfect man to take over from Dave.

Any man with a tattoo of a sloth is to be welcomed and celebrated.
Again, it's good to see the club employing a Dale fan. Eden will do a great job and I'm sure Dale's reputation of excellent tannoy music will continue. The stuff he puts on the jukebox is utter shite, but most of you fcukwits seem to like that sort of stuff, so we're all happy aren't we?
Maybe Eden will be able to sort the volume out....

He'll have to make that his little Project.

Glad it's gone to a Dale fan and by the sounds of it similar tastes in music which Spotland has become renowned for over the years whether it's your thing or not. Good luck to the lad hope he makes it his own.
Good luck Eden. Your family are a bastion of RAFC.
As for the departing "lifelong" fan, I assume we'll see him back at Spotland as often as the other lifelong fans who went by the names of Brookes, Fagan and Ashworth.
If the above three have a gripe with that, they'll be able to take it up with me in Shrewsbury tomorrow.

But, they won't be reading...
Fans know!
Can't believe season ticket holders won't be there tomorrow.

More like spend his time in the rain. Off to the lake district I think.
And of course Rain was Oasis's name before Oasis. After the Beatles song of the same name, and where John Lennon first sang the elongated.....sunshhhhinnnneee.
Beatles songs are very protected and not much available on YouTube. However, here is a clip of an attractive lady playing Paul Mcartney's brilliant bass line from the song.

I think Eden's appointment is a fantastic move by the club, new blood was definitely needed as Dave was becoming a bit boring, I'm sure Eden will bring a new youthful and vibrant presence to the job. Looking forward to next season and a young voice in the job.

It will be nice to have someone new taking up the cudgels. A different slant on the music and presentation will hopefully freshen things up. Good luck Eden, let's hope you're as good at selecting music when it's not juke box cricket. Kate Bush with Babooshka anyone?

Couldn't agree more. I know I'm biased as a mate of Eden's, but I really think he'll be great for the role. I think it's been clear from the sheer amount of threads on here about him that Dave wasn't to everyone's tastes, although I personally liked a lot of the music he did play.
Eden will provide an injection of youth as you say and I reckon he may be able to cater to more tastes than Dave as well. I know he is buzzing and can't wait to get stuck in and I'm buzzing for him too tbh and looking forward to hearing the odd band other than the Stone Roses and Oasis.

As much good as Sweetmore has done as tannoyman, it's time for a change in my view. I can't be the only fan who has become immune to a plastic manc shouting; I switch off as soon as he roars into the mic.
He could be shouting, "everybody leave the ground. IS have planted a bomb" and I'd be like shut up, we've won a corner. Nobody listens anymore. We need a new voice!
A new era, a new voice, a new broom is just what the club needs. We've had the new broom on the pitch, in the commercial department, in ground ownership, in the CE.
Why halt the sweeping changes for the better with the bloody tannoyman?
And if matey radio are upset by the change then that's a bonus!
