Pitman strikes again but Pompey slip up at Bradford Tuesday, 17th Apr 2018 22:18 by pompey-fans.com staff Pompey's hopes of reaching the League One play-offs suffered a major setback with a 3-1 loss at Bradford. Brett Pitman's long-range finish levelled things up on the hour after Nathaniel Knight-Percival gave the Bantams a first half advantage. But Matty Lund took advantage of hesitant defending to make it 2-1 and Charlie Wyke seized on a Luke McGee spillage in injury time to wrap it up for what was only Bradford's second win of 2018. The defeat left Pompey eighth in League One and probably needing to win all three of their remaining games to finish in the top six - while also hoping for a slip-up or two from their rivals. Pompey: McGee; Thompson, Whatmough, Clarke, Donohue; Close; Lowe, Evans (Hawkins 55), Ronan (O’Keefe 55), Naismith (Chaplin 75); Pitman. Subs not used: Bass, Burgess, Haunstrup, May Referee: Andy Woolmer
