Firstly Congratulations on being on the verge of breaking the Welsh club Transfer record. Wilfred Bony is a good player but is very replaceable. It's pretty obvious as to why I'm posting, and I expect to be shot down by the usual. Cardiff City to be restored to its true identity!!! Whether VT will use this to get out of the club, or to bridge the gap he created? Only time will tell. But thousands of Supporters have made personal sacrifices to get to this point. Friendships and long standing bonds have been broken. A club has been in turmoil, now can start to repair the damage. With a history like yours surely you know how important it is to have the community behind the club. I don't care what league we are in, nor do I care if we are spending millions or counting pennies. What I do care about is things being the way they should be. Cardiff City... Blue... |

Well done on the excellent result, dare i say the greatest league result you've ever had? Many inc myself thought Utd would steam roll you guys. shows how much work LVG has got on his hands, take nothing away from monk and co though. Secondly, Wayne Routledge was spotted at the Vale along with new Cardiff signings, Morrison and Pilkington, sparking rumors he may join on Loan. i for one think its a non starter but whats the deal with the player at Swansea currently? |

What's your thoughts and expectations for the upcoming season. Who do you think will win the league? Who will get dropped? Who will get promoted? What are your thoughts on your opening game? If you could add one player from another prem side who would it be? |

Banter aside.... We all like to revel in each other's misfortune (part of being rivals isn't it). But if Tan agrees to this I am at an utter loss for words. " Daily Mail. Sunderland agree £1.5m deal for Jordan Mutch after impressive season at Cardiff City By SIMON JONES Sunday 1st June 2014 Sunderland have agreed a £1.5million deal for Cardiff midfielder Jordon Mutch, 22. Mutch was Cardiff's top goalscorer last season and was not keen to drop back down to the Championship. The club are looking to wrap up many deals early on, with Billy Jones and Jordi Gomez already signed. Coup: Sunderland have agreed a £1.5m fee with Cardiff City to sign star midfielder Jordan Mutch Two men who could be on their way out at the Stadium Light are Jack Colback and Adam Johnson. West Ham are looking to sign academy graduate Colback, while Johnson is £5m target for Hull City. Gus Poyet though, has recently penned a new contract." £1.5m is an absolute insult of a bid, if it has been accepted by Tan then I can only imagine he wants out now and is attempting to recoup what he can. If Tan goes that's fine. We will either fold or survive by the skin of our teeth. But Jordan was excellent last season and is only 22. |

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2604623/Swansea-war-Garry-Monk Swansea's preparations for Sunday's home defeat by Chelsea were undermined by an amazing training-ground fight. The extraordinary incident involved six players from the first-team squad and took place during a full-scale practice match last Wednesday. Swansea chairman Huw Jenkins was left stunned after witnessing the fierce clashes between players. Although he has not taken disciplinary action against those involved, Jenkins is becoming increasingly alarmed about the friction in the Swansea dressing room. According to training-ground sources, there were three incidents during the high-tempo session organised by interim manager Garry Monk. It is understood players had to be separated after tempers flared and tackles got out of hand. The incredible scenes will do nothing to help morale at the club. Monk, who took over when Michael Laudrup was fired, is attempting to repair relations between the players and unite the squad as they try to avoid relegation. Swansea lost 1-0 at the Liberty Stadium on Sunday against Chelsea and went down to 10 men after Chico Flores was sent off for a second bookable offence. Monk had organised the training game with the specific brief to get the 1-0 defeat at Hull five days previously out of the system. Instead, it turned into an opportunity for players who have issues with the work ethic of team-mates to start picking fights. Swansea have struggled to build on last season's success, when they qualified for the Europa League after beating Bradford in the Capital One Cup final. This is not the first time the club's dressing room has been ripped apart by in-fighting among the players. In January, Sportsmail revealed that Flores had picked up a brick during a row with Monk. A member of the public witnessed the incident and called police, claiming Flores had grabbed a brick and threatened Monk with it. Just two weeks later Laudrup, who led the team to a ninth-place finish in the Barclays Premier League last season, was fired. Swansea have won just one of their last nine games in the top flight and stand three points above the drop zone ahead of Saturday's trip to Newcastle. The club brought in a number of players last summer to help cope with the added demands of playing in the Europa League for the first time. Wilfried Bony, who has been a success leading the attack since joining from Vitesse Arnhem, earns £58,000 a week, for example. But the influx of high earners has affected morale in the dressing room and Jenkins plans to make a number of strategic changes in the summer. There are other issues at the club and a source claimed one player was caught refuelling with crisps at half-time in a recent match. |

Well Done. Napoli are a top side and over the two legs you made them look rather ordinary. I am being genuine and honest with my words. I honestly thought you were going to nick it in the end. You were competitive and showed many clubs in Europe that Wales has a Club side capable of performing at a top level. It hurts me that it's not Cardiff but Swansea, but as a proud Welshman I cannot begrudge any plaudits that come your way. (Anyone who feels the need to throw abuse back thinking I'm Wum save your breath as you won't get a bite here.) Once again,Well Done. Should be nothing but proud of your boys tonight. |

Congrats on an outstanding performance last night. Before the match I had you being beaten comfortably, but after about 20 mins in that mindset had gone completely. Get an away goal and anything is possible. |

Things seem to be going from Bad to worse. Further unprofessional behaviour from upstairs and hopes of a morale boosting Cup victory dashed by an average Championship side. Whilst many on here wil be revelling in the failings of the Capital side,Spare a moment if you can at some point tonight and head over to the Anus Forum, should be hilarious for you... |
| Forum Thread | Are you at risk or are you confident? at 19:47 14 Feb 2014
West Brom Fulham and ourselves are all at serious risk. Then you have Hull,Norwich,Sunderland,Palace and Stoke who are still at risk. Along with Yourselves and West Ham,it won't be long before some teams are expected to step to safety. West Ham seemed to have turned the curve and Sunderland look decent at times. Who do you think will drop? Whilst I expect 98% of you to say Cardiff due to the rivalry alone,But try to base your decision on footballing logic. |

Looking at the Cardiff forums tonight. Tis rather depressing watching the fans I've stood next to many times over self destruct. Annis and co have their panties in a bunch that's for sure. Shame they've turned on each other though(you may not think that) I've never seen such a passionless performance from my lads as I've seen tonight. But I will not slate anyone of them. For me Ole got it all wrong and everything played into your hands. Whilst I don't think your completely out of the battle yet that win will do so much for the remainder of your season. Players seemed to respond well to Garry and his instructions. Congratulations on your well deserved win and a much needed 3 points. Hopefully there will be another welsh derby next season though I won't hold my breath. You can take this as another genuine post by myself or you can bombard it with petty comments and abuse. Not bothered to be honest. Had Cardiff won I would've posted and been very forthcoming in my feelings about the result so it's only fair I do the same after a defeat. This was billed as a Premiership match. But there were only one premiership side playing. |
| Forum Thread | PAUL MERSON. RIGHT OR WRONG? at 10:41 7 Feb 2014
Swansea v Cardiff (5pm, Sat, Sky Sports 1) I can't wait for this game, but don't understand the Michael Laudrup sacking. Three months ago I thought he was going to become the Tottenham manager, but Swansea told them to keep their hands off - and now all of a sudden they've sacked him. They need to smell the coffee. They've won the League Cup - the first thing they've won since I was born - and suddenly they think they should be a top-four team. Every team bar the current top seven should have one aim: to get to 40 points ASAP and then you go from there. This is a bad move by them in my opinion. I also can't believe they have put Garry Monk in charge, a lad who has never managed before and who was fighting with other players a few weeks ago. I think all this is a big advantage to Cardiff and I don't see Swansea winning this. Cardiff won last week and after all that's gone on I think this will be a draw - and to be fair, that won't be the worst result for Swansea. Paul predicts 1-1 |
| Forum Thread | Laudrup how will he be viewed? at 10:35 5 Feb 2014
As one of your best managers or just an average manager with a blessed group of players? He took you to your first ever major trophy and Qualified for a European competition. Surely to mock or belittle him would say more about you as fans than him as a manager? Same was said about Cardiff fans when Malky was sacked. |
| Forum Thread | Now I'm worried. at 21:43 4 Feb 2014
Think your boys will be galvanised and well up for proving everyone wrong. Always seems that way when a gaffer is sacked for unusual reasons. Do you think he deserved to finish the job or he deserved the boot? Does this give you confidence heading to the South Wales derby? (Looking for genuine posts guys, keep the petty squabbles for the kids please) |

1,How do you think the game will pan out,and where will it be won and lost? 2,What players are you least looking forward to facing (if any),and who do you think will be your key player(s)? 3,How much bearing do you think the result will have on the rest of the campaign for either side? Before you start I am no Wum and not fishing or here to mock. Yes I am a Cardiff City Fan but I am a football fan first and foremost. Looking for a genuine discussion and not a petty squabble. That being said... I think the Ngog signing was a cover signing with Michu's Fitness still not up to scratch. I don't see him keeping Bony or any other forward you have out of the side. Overall it's a free so you can't complain, but he is not a Premiership player. Tom Ince, should you seal the deal then you have a very good player his work rate is excellent and his distribution and eye for goal are way to good for the Championship. Whilst I'm glad Cardiff didn't pay £8m for him,I am gutted he did not sign for us in the end. Value at around £3/4m easily. Leigh Griffiths, natural finisher but heads in the proverbial shed. He is a massive Hibernian Fan and want to play for that club. Can't see him joining Celtic,Ever!! So should you acquire him then if you can keep him on the straight and narrow then you've got yourselves a goal scorer. |
