**Burnley Match Thread** on 10:14 - Apr 23 by distortR | Huddersfield should look at their own failings this season, not Burnley's. 'kin cheek of it, Burnley have earned the right to field what team they like by wrapping up promotion so early. But I imagine it was written to induce Kompany to field a strong side against us. How'd that go? |
Absolutely. Clubs name a squad and can them pick whoever they like from it, whether they’re fringe players or not.

Some people on here. Wow. Sensitive little creatures aren’t they E15. Hope the Steak tasted that little bit better last night 👠

**Burnley Match Thread** on 12:31 - Apr 23 with 2162 views | Hayesender | Well fck me, that was unexpected to say the least. Tried my best to stay away from the score, but bumped into another couple of QPR fans at Littlehampton v Chatham. So between me and my mates and these other QPR fans, we spent the 8 minutes of injury time pacing up and down behind the goal. Fck know what everyone else thought at the final whistle, with seven of us jumping up and down hugging each other, long after the Littlehampton game had finished

**Burnley Match Thread** on 08:33 - Apr 23 by TGRRRSSS | Don't forget Reading have to play Huddersfield as well, Wigan cant catch us, Blackpool have to win both to have any hope. Cardiiff play Rotherham but it's essentially the game in hand for them both as they are both on 46 I agree a win for 1 is better. GD is the Achilles I guess but a point from 2 I honestly think makes us safe and I fancy we can get a win from the Bristol City game as they will have nothing to play for then (dangerous I know). BBC Berks after full time was a joy to tune into for a while. They were devastated by our win. [Post edited 23 Apr 2023 8:51]

Its simpler than that for now I think - match Reading's result next Saturday and we're safe.

Is that 100% correct? So many of the other teams below us play each other that I can't figure it out, but I think that us and Reading lost on Saturday, Blackpool would still overtake us with two wins (on GD) and Rotherham, Cardiff and H'field all could as well, leaving us 22nd if we lost our last game?

I think you're right, we need to match Reading except if Reading lose we need to get a draw to cover off Blackpool winning both games. If Reading and Blackpool both lose their next game we're safe regardless.

Ok, that's very clear. I might actually remember that! Thanks Jim.

**Burnley Match Thread** on 18:04 - Apr 22 by tkqpr | I wonder if they'll be any "hoo-ha" if Gareth is seen out tonight in Town?? I fact insist that they all do. Its seems that a few beers after an epic underdog performance such as that is indeed called for. Well done my team - i did actually have faith and had them 0-1 winners in the prediction league as i felt a GA bounce at some point. Amen to that! You RRRRRRRR's |
Surely, they'd go out down the road...in Blackburn?
