A moot point anyway. Jenkins seems to have minimal influence on expenditure. The hierarchy have tasked Mr Parkman to cut costs to the bone. There won't be any further transfer activity. Even if we loaned out Dyer, Routledge and Naughton the case will be made for further prudence.
Pearlman's teasing ambiguity towards possible loans coming in that is just a facade to keep hopes high and dissent low amongst supporters.
In my opinion as long as they've made at 20% profit on their purchase amount they'll put the club up for sale next summer, unless by some miracle we manage to achieve promotion .
I might surprise some by saying that would be the best outcome , at least they won't have the mismanagement of that buffoon Jenkins in the recruitment side and we'll see a far better run and sustainable club in the PL with a good young manager . It's his idiocy that has put us where we are now financially. It's just a shame we didn't make these changes at the end of the season before last. We'd probably have not suffered relegation. |  |
