Sean Goss 10:14 - Jan 17 with 24200 viewsterryb

Am I being stupid & not seeing it, or is there not a general thread for transfer rumours?

Anyhow, I've seen that we are being linked to Sean Goss, a 19 year old at Manure & not as a loan.

I don't know if there is any possibility of this happening or anything about the player.

Can someone please enlighten me?

Indie saying he's agreed terms, medical tomorrow and will be in the squad for Burton. £800k.

"Goss has six months left on his contract at Manchester United and has rejected a new deal at Old Trafford in pursuit of first-team football. He could have waited until the summer to sign a lucrative deal with an interested Premier League club but has decided to leave this month."

If true suggest there is something about him

Yes indeed.

It's called misguided decision making.

If Goss has misguided decision making, then he's a perfect fit for QPR, and he will probably be manager in 20 years time. You heard it here first,

it seems that Man U have inserted a buy back clause in his contract enabling them to buy him back at a set price.(According to click bait sights)

I can see it now

Goss performs like a demon for us then Utd buy him back for peanuts then sell him on for a fortune

captains fantastic
Poll: SWEET F'IN CAROLINE. Played every half time

Hopefully it's a decent figure at least. £300mill or so would do.

Goss himself may have wanted the buy back in there since he's a Man Yoo supporter.

So overall very positive and I'll resist the urge to worry about the Tom Carrolls of the past.

Buy back is a de facto clause in any buy from Man Utd after their humiliation on getting Pogba back

What was wrong with Tom Carroll? Nice little player I always thought.

Trying to think how many signings from Man Utd have turned out to be any good...

Fabio...
Macheda...
Culkin...
Park...
Rio...
Will Keane...

just saying like, I'd not be shopping there having been that burnt.

From my not completely relaible memory he started well, scored a beautiful goal early on, then seemed to get progressively more bullied and ineffective with each passing month, eventually becoming a shadow of his early self. But I could be wrong.

Says a lot more about our transfer business than who Man Utd have in their squads, doesn't it?
Reminds me of the time people said we should never buy an australian again because Nick Ward and Ned Zelic didn't work out (although Zelic was actually a very good player and a great career in Germany after his failure with us).

Bare bones.

From my memory, he was a bit lightweight but had a good footballing brain and liked to keep the ball moving quickly.
I also recall him quite quickly becoming a target for the boo boys.

Hopefully we have put a buy back buy back clause if it doesn't work out for him on his return to Man Utd

Signed, sealed, delivered.

Turned down a new contract and United wanting a loan deal because he wanted to move on and play every week.

I suppose you could throw Paul Pogba and Gerard Pique in there too but from our perspective, signg their scraps has never worked out too well in the past. But I guess we've never actually bought anyone for a fee before. Lets hope he turns out to be the next Roy Keane.

Ha. That's hilarious. He looks like his mum has forced him to pose for it.

"Come on Sean, I want to send a photo to your Auntie Doreen in Sydney".
