As we've secured another year in the premier league and all it's riches can we now just chill for at least a couple of weeks and celebrate our amazing club! As fans we have many different views on the ins and outs to best take our club forward next year but for now lets give Monk, Board and players a massive we'll done and let them hear our loud and proud support!!

Managers for survival

How important do you think managerial experience is for prem survival? Hull WHU and palace have each at some stage gone from being ' down' to safety with managers that aren't easy on the eye but have solid experience. I think we'll be ok as there are some v poor teams this year, but do you think we'd be safe now and had we appointed a survival specialist in jan?

I expect Sunderland be down by the time we visit, so wIth Soton and Newcastle taking our 'on the beach' approach of last season and Villa out of sorts not going to panic too much if we lose tomorrow. Love to nick something against chelski but if not the boys can surely get up for just one win from next four winnable games.

Lowest number of points ever in prem to stay up - with bottom four in shit form do you think it'll be beaten this year? If so with our goal difference we're already safe !

... To turn around the game sums up today. Is he really the best we have? Did he even touch the ball? No fight or apparent tactics today against a dogged but poor hull team. Need something from chelsea / Newcastle or back right in it.

Assault on Bony

Busy and pretty positive mood on the forum, so maybe a ferdy but surprised so little comment on the assault on bony in the box. Focus has been on probert cheating in the last minute but how didn't he see the bull like shoulder charge / barge on bony for a pen ?
