patrick vieira to palace on 14:34 - Jun 29 by ReslovenSwan1 | I would imaginfe Wilder wants guarentee of big ticket transfers. Cooper will do what he did at Swansea and be "imaginative" and bring in polished elite young players. If Coopers stays it could get ugly and have a bad effect on the young players. He will have to be professional and try to produce a better playing style and still win. Swansea got improved home form in his second season. There are plaenty of managers in the Premier league "biding time for a bigger club". Esprito Santo for one, Rafa another at Newcastle. Its all about results. |
He needs to go and pronto should of made it clear early doors that he would only go for an interview if the job was guaranteed. Like Brendan did when Liverpool came calling. By whoring himself about has disrespected our club and fans.

If its all about the results then why does the Club and a large percentage of supporters want Cooper gone, two playoff positions are not to be sniffed at

This is my opinion for what it is worth. The football has been dire and lacking any quality, we go through matches without a shot on goal. I go to matches to be entertained and excited that is not happening under Cooper. Yes we have been in the play offs twice but we are still in the same position we were 2 years ago. If we had gone up the ends would have justified the means but we didn't.

patrick vieira to palace on 12:58 - Jun 29 by krunchykarrot | Well said sir. Football is about different opinions and i believe Cooper has done an unbelievable job with the players and team he has. Now if you ask me has it been pleasing on the eye i would have to say it has been a challenge at times, but i bet Didier wishes that France had more of a team ethic last night. |
I got a bad feeling for La Francais when Pogba did that childish "Victory jig". Everything about it said "the job is done I am great am I not?" I would have subbed him straight away and brough on a grafter. The manager himself was called a "water carrier" by Cantona. The water carrier let the hollywood platyers close out the deal. I think Ginola is still abused today for prancing about flicking the ball in Paris shortly before Bulgaria knocked them out of one tournament.

As one of the replies say to that tweet, I honestly don't see Wilder putting up with that, and in fairness to him, I don't think Cooper is a yes man either as we have saw with him here when Peterson was sold. |
I was summing up, because he was tweeted a couple of times in response to it, and that included the other tweets

Pogba super talented but a clown and it costs hi team and now his country. # Jimmy Greave once said he never really celebrated scoring a goal as if the team lot it meant nothing. Greaves ,a a goal machine and a man,a world away from Pogba the Poseur

If you have played football to a decent level you would knoew there were only 2 players who could have the temerity to do a "jig" Kante and Benzema. Seriously Rwesolven on a football forum that goal would have had all of Cam Gears out clapping in my day

patrick vieira to palace on 13:23 - Jun 29 by Dr_Parnassus | Depends what and who you are comparing them to I suppose. Bigger than Man Utd? No. Bigger than Premier League Brighton? Yes. Bigger than Premier League Brentford? Yes. Bigger than us? Yes Bigger than the vast majority of the Championship? Yes. When you combine that with the fact they are favourites for the title and have far more immediate potential than an awful lot around them, a position managing them is very attractive indeed. |
Fulham are bigger than Brighton? You got that wrong, pound for pound Brighton is a bigger club. Fulham is a small to middling club, just like Watford, QPR, Ipswich, Swans, etc.

Swansea and Cardiff have the pick of south and mid wales. And some in the north. Swansea have the monopoly but it’s a big space to get support from.

patrick vieira to palace on 12:31 - Jun 29 by Dr_Parnassus | Apparently Fulham are unwilling to pay the compensation required for Coopers desired backroom staff. Unless that changes... We may just be keeping him after all |
I wonder how much we value Cooper's backroom staff ? Could be big. Cooper is the main man and is clearly skilled in assembling a talented team (as most top professionals are). Without Cooper the backroom team value is marginal. Cooper and his team will require significant compensation. If as we understand it, Parker has taken his backroom team then Fulham will need to stump up. So, we either get significant compo, or Cooper stays. The latter is clearly what most fans are hoping for.
