Anyone think that Huddlestone would have fitted in with us? A bit of physicality and technically good?

I deffo think he'd fit in with us, and imo he's an excellent player.

Earlier in the season I was thinking that we had a chance of getting him if Hull got relegated.

malky was rubbish as is OGS they are going down and will be whipped week in week out from here on in and will be the first to get relegated. Malky was heading for the drop anyway. He wont get another top flight job ever, quite simply not good enough.

Don't know how you can say that. He got them up as champions and managed to keep a 'championship side' out of the bottom 3 all season. Had a large slice of luck but fair do's.

I thought I'd get an ear bashing as he cost money and we had Canas, JonJo and JDG for a relative pittance

Shane Long excellent today. Imagine where he'd be if he was Spanish and had an U21 cap.

He's a good championship player. Revels in playing championship quality opposition.

FRAIZER CAMPBELL: 'DON'T WRITE US OFF'

Cardiff’s top scorer Fraizer Campbell has told critics not to write off the Bluebirds as the striker sets his sights on a precious Barclays Premier League victory against former club Hull City on Saturday.

With just six points between mid-table anonymity and the Bluebirds in nineteenth currently, the England International said: “People write us off now, like they did to Crystal Palace and Sunderland a few weeks ago and look where they are now. There's still twelve games to go and lots of points to play for. Hopefully we can pick up the majority of them.

“You look at the table and it's really, really tight. You win a couple of games and it can pull you right up the table, lose a couple and you're probably going to be right back in it. We would've been happy to finish just above the relegation zone at the start of the season and we're not too far away from that at the moment.

“We just have to go out and play our football. It's a massive game for us and for them really, there’s not that much between us. There's a lot on this game, so we have to be prepared for it. It'd be nice for the players and everyone at the club to get three points.”

City gained valuable results in their last two league encounters at Cardiff City Stadium, as a 2-1 win and three points against Norwich City was followed by a 0-0 draw with Aston Villa last Tuesday.

Now looking to make it seven points from a possible nine, Campbell said: “We play a lot of the bottom half teams coming up. You have to look at certain games and think there's a chance to pick up some points.

“They're the games that will probably decide where you're at come the end of the season. You want to win every game and try and get out of the relegation spots. A few wins and things will look a lot better.”

On today's showing at their effort against us, 10 is generous. I get seven. Beat Fulham, draws against West Brom, Palace, Stoke and Sunderland.

Thinking further about it, even seven is generous.

They need 8 points or they'll officially be the worst premier league team ever (in the all time table)

We are 36/46 and need another 12 points to overtake Sheffield United.

Some signs of life in Fulham. A win there is far from guaranteed.

I can't conceivably imagine them getting more than ten points from those fixtures, but as you say, it's entirely possible that it will be less. Hell, the way that they're playing at the moment it's not beyond the realms of possibility that they'll lose the lot.
