I've not seen another thread but I'd like to shout out to the whole ground yesterday for an impeccable minute silence. I bet there aren't . Many Cardiff fans who'd thought Swansea and millwall would be so respectful. Shame the WOS or Wales online didn't run an article on that rather than 1 Southampton fans twisted actions.
There would be a welcoming committee up at the training ground Monday morning. Maybe this is the best place to protest as the players and management will see it in their faces as they enter training.
Whilst not quite up to their late 70's standard the new album has some outstanding tracks on it and Debbie Harry still sounds great. However I do have a problem with there only being three original members - they managed to all get together to be inducted into the hall of fame even the English one.
now what other band from the 70's still making new music deserves credit? Apart from The Damned
What a lovely problem to have. big game after big game after big game you'd swear we play in different leagues. How refreshing to hear someone like him come out and say they were outplayed for a change and dodged a bullet today. players being tired the poor little lambs - the Everton game now becomes our biggest game ever doesn't it? pressure might be a factor kicking off knowing what hull have got earlier. I think we in the stands will be fatigued come 7pm next sat
What are the movements of the likes of Jenkins on a day to day basis? If say I wanted to go and catch up with him would he be at the stadium Monday to Friday or up at fairwood? I k ow there are security on reception but what's it like up at fairwood.
Maybe we could get a rota of people prepared to protest at both venues when he comes and goes like.
Having always bought the kids the shirts with their names on every season since they were born as well as tracksuits and other club merch this is the first season neither want the new strip. they both asked why green and blue and not black and white.
Anyone know if the club has suffered commercially since ditching the black and white adidas stuff for the Blue and Green joma stuff? and is the away shirt part of the sponsorship deal with beteast? Surely it should be the sponsors falling in with the clubs identity and not the other way around??
I was lead to believe that we always had a plan as to how we operated. Be it on the field "this so called swansea way" and off it.
We seem to be a bit rabbit in the headlights at the moment and the tide seems to be turning on the board. Maybe we should have sold to the Americans after all. A semi dignified exit for the current board maybe. At this rate they'll be hounded out if we were to drop out of the prem.
Any supporters nights coming up with Jenkins and dineen in attendance? Might lay to rest a few concerns supporters have to rest.
A tidy striker would certainly appease a lot of supporters.
Tonight I felt sorry for Curt he's being let down by the board. He doesn't want the job clearly he isn't up to the incredibly difficult job of keeping a pretty weak side in the premiership. Huw has ridden his wave and was patted on the back and often rightly so but he has lucked out and shouldn't hide behind Curtis.
We can't stay up on the cheap strikers win games not Scottish kids for the future. Big Sam undid Curtis tonight by having the experience to boss the second half and dictate play . Sure the officials were poor but we were all over the shop. Leon was our shield not the one to make way. It should have been Barrow as we were winning at the time. A lack of nouse me thinks.
We might well luck out this time and the blame must go to the board all the boasts of the best squad ever! Really? We started the season with our fingers crossed that Gomis might do ok but we never replaced Bony.
I hope and pray we don't rue the day last summer we didn't replace him. Fingers crossed there are three worse teams than us come May. I fear because many fans and players will be offski come the summer if we do go down.
Looks like the usual trumped up tosh is being bleated by Gooners the world over. Wenger out this wenger out that. We knew this was going to be the case before kick off. We would mainly receive back handed praise from a big team centric media.
There wont be many Swans fans totally surprised by todays result and in fairness chelski aside we've more than matched much bigger teams this season with our squad.
Anyone else hoping for a return to Europe next season? I'd love another foray overseas and it would help us keep hold of players and attract better players for the future. We're more than capable of it and it should come as no shock when we turn over these so called big boys.
Oh and I'd love to see a major period of instability at the top for the big boys. Man you are in panic mode. Man city have a finger on the trigger for the manager. Liverpool are at sixes and sevens after splashing serious money to take a step forward and three steps back and with no real game plan in sight. Spurs are a bit like man city and about to go into meltdown so long may it continue. Its like a breath of fresh air at the top of the table.
Its times like this I wish that the real radio phone in was still on air so I could hear that weasel perry talk his way out of their wretched season. ho hum never mind
The second half tempo was far better from us. When we get the ball down and play it around at pace we are a real threat and when our wide players get to the goal line Bony gets goals.
