FA Cup 5th Round is down as 2nd March, so 5th should be OK but if we're talking Wemberlee, Wemberlee, the 6th round IS scheduled for the 19th, so that one will be moved if we're still marching on to cup glory by then.

Yeah thatโs definitely nonsense.

Well we only get 700 there anyway these days, so if they decide to widen the gap between home and away for security then it might have some truth in it.
Sky fixtures on 13:01 - Feb 2 with 1997 views | losethedrum | I emailed the box office re the cardiff game on sat 5th march . They got back to me with the following reply within 1 hour , looks like i can buy train tickets for that game now . Many thanks for your email. In terms of television selections, we are anticipating that the Cardiff game will stay at 3pm on the Saturday. Fixtures are subject to change but at this stage it shouldn't be for television purposes.

Sky fixtures on 14:02 - Feb 1 by Northernr | I'd actually like a couple to be moved this time, selfishly. Stoke A I'm at a bloody stupid wedding. Cardiff H clashes with last day of the 6 Nations so the Crown will be full of rugby. |
"I'm at a bloody stupid wedding". Is Sharon marrying Grant again? Top tip: If you are ever struggling to sleep, try reading the "Storylines" section of the Sharon Watts Wikipedia page... Shame about the wedding, my mates and I once got bawled out by the mother of the bride for trying to secretly watch a Frank Bruno fight on TV while at my mate Chris' wedding reception
| "Things had started becoming increasingly desperate at Loftus Road but QPR have been handed a massive lifeline and the place has absolutely erupted. it's carnage. It's bedlam. It's 1-1." |

As I said above, the possibility is that we are in the 5th round, THAT game gets picked for TV and is moved, meaning our league game needs to be moved. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

Sky fixtures on 11:16 - Feb 2 by Konk | We're on SKY four times between 5th-19th March! Blackburn at home - 12:30 - nice early start for Rovers fans Barnsley away - 12:30 - cheers Albion away - 20:00 midweek (no real impact) Forest at home - 20:00 on a Saturday - Premier Inn ahoy if you've travelled from Nottingham I would be amazed if our game at your place isn't on the telly. |
I can't remember a Fulham - QPR game that hasn't been on Sky in the last five or six years.

They must be making us a special case if we only get 700 as Blackburn had 1032 at Luton last saturday , could well be down to segregation as you say .

Any idea why it has changed days? I just went on our website and saw that we wanted an extra day to prepare after Forest away. Why 12.30 though? [Post edited 3 Feb 2022 11:30]

Sky fixtures on 11:48 - Feb 3 with 1328 views | daveB | Sky's fragile ego can't handle any other football being shown against them so we are the victims of that due to BBC & ITV showing FA Cup that weekend. It's a farce now. Ohh swift edit as I've just seen why they moved it, take it all back. Absolute pain though to play on a Sunday lunchtime, those games are always crap [Post edited 3 Feb 2022 11:56]

I'm going to take a guess here.. perhaps as we had the midweek Forest game moved, it gives us an extra day to recover for this one. Given that the following two weeks are off - international weekend - moving the Posh game won't affect recovery. Which, if I am right means that moving the Luton game has caused two other games to be moved, like when the Bournemouth game was moved from Boxing Day.

Yes exactly why a 12.30 start ? Its another bus replacement service that day & a 2/3pm start would surely still be possible. 12.30 kills the atmosphere & ruins the day out for the Posh fans who would have been looking forwards to this game from the time the fixture list came out .
Sky fixtures on 13:29 - Feb 3 with 1079 views | PinnerPaul | No idea why an away game on a Wednesday followed by a Saturday 3pm ko is now deemed unacceptable, teams have been and continue to do that all the time!

Sky fixtures on 15:25 - Feb 3 with 909 views | losethedrum | QPR ceo lee Hoos said "I know supporters would like most games to kick off at 3pm on a Saturday, but what fans like more is winning games and it is important that we give the manager and players the best possible chance to recover - not least for sporting integrity As for what fans like more is winning games ... it would have been the same for both sides had it stayed saturday 3pm as Posh are also playing on the wednesday . Lets hope Rangers are in the 6th round of the fa cup that weekend and this gets binned off & arranged for a more reasonable kick off time at least .
