Good point in the end but that it turned into only 1 point was mainly down to our own shortcomings. Far too slow in transition for most of the game, our passing is still very wayward as their second goal showed. We took tremendous risks around our own box but very few around theirs which I don't get whatever RM says. Risk & reward principle would suggest we do it the other way around? But and I seem to say this most weeks, why are we so lethargic in the early stages of the second half. Whatever we are doing at half time needs to be reviewed, we start the second half like we've just woken up! Pretty sure we will make the play offs but this is not the form for automatic promotion, hopefully it will come good soon!

Russel Martin really has to take the blame here for the team selection.

He doesn't have the cojones to drop players or not let them play. He wants to be a chum to all of them.

If you as a player have been rubbish (Holgate, Aribo etc) you DON'T get to play. If we have an injury and your are called upon, then you have to demonstrate you are good enough to get another chance. But we shouldn't play them to give them a bit of game time - only when we are forced to.

Start Sulemana and Alcaraz if they are tired and keep the same team that has been winning. Take them off early if needs be, not the other way around.

The ending was pretty exciting! But really we have too much quality not to be going out and winning games against the likes of Preston. They were the more direct team and created more chances than Saints. Again, we had lots of possession but too few goal chances and slow movement. Player wise I thought Stuey A deserved a shout out - he at least was on the move and showing. Bednarek was solid. KWP great going forward but left a lot of space at the back. Didn’t see a lot from Charles, Adams or Mara.

Another head-scratching spectacle. Hand your notice in RM, you haven't got a clue. Another two points lost.
Next match, is it 6-0, 0-6 or 6-6 who knows? Maybe RM should rotate back to Swansea.

Never got going in the 1st half - too many changes or players out of position,
Great goal from KWP to break the deadlock.
Super save from Baz and someone's hand on the line.

Don't know what was said or consumed at HT, but we came out for the 2nd half asleep and defensive confusion saw us almost concede within 10 seconds !! Then the equaliser that was not closed down and was close enough to Baz to have been saved. THEN, poor pass, lightweight defending and tracking back and the keeper stood virtually on his line with his legs open !! 2-1.

Cue the changes - at least we tried to get something, but only Sulemana, S Arm and KWP tried to be creative, but Sulemana needs to learn how to cross the ball FFS.
We played like we were content with trying to get a draw, but I wanted more. More urgency and to be more direct, for us to go for the win, not just the draw.

After creating few clear cut chances, in the last minute of injury time, we could have had a penalty, but with our handball in the 1st half, it was ok that it wasn't given - because from the resulting corning, Baz managed to flick a header on and it deflected in off Evans for a just about deserved equaliser.

Loads of possession (70%), but Preston created the same number chances as us with their 30%. Too much tippy tappy, not enough urgency, even when we were chasing the game.

Birmingham is now a must win game !! :-)

A good result in the end but not a great performance. Struggled in all areas at times. Build up too slow and little end product. Passing was awful at times. She Charles was the worst offender. Surely Bazunu's header was on target before the deflection. Cruel not to award him the goal. Great away support again.
