I'd play Canas against teams we'll dominate as his distribution is better but he doesn't read the game as well as Leon so doesn't break up the play as effectively. | | | |

I believe Canas has earned his starts recently with good performances. When he positional play is good he just pips Leon for me at the moment because of his better range of passing.

He was outstanding last night, still breaks up play better than anybody else and keeps it simple hence not giving the ball away as much. I'd be starting Leon in the league games and keeping Canas for europe who will turn out to be a fantastic player for us. |  |
