will the start of this season replicate the last. 11:53 - Jun 5 with 2278 views | tom007 | last season we had the 2 idiots in charge withholding funds so nw could not buy any quality players . they poisoned the club and almost destroyed all the good work that had been done getting us up. all basically laying the foundations for our struggle to survive, it is those 2 idiots (flavio and eccles) for me that was to blame for our struggles. now we have one guy leading us to turmoil currently ( mr. barton) i have been an admirer for quite some time because of his will to survive against all the odds. not the most ideal of upbringing family members in and out of trouble, i am aware of these issues as it is a part of the job i do ,helping underprivileged people, people in trouble etc and believe me it is more difficult than at first glance to leave that kind of problem behind. trouble does and will always follow you around, but add to this mental health issues which i currently believe is also an issue then i feel the steps taken by the past management of making him a captain in order to secure his signature was although a brave decision at the same time a ridiculous one. lets face it you would not give charles manson a role as head chef in the kitchen. if you have mental health issues which he obviously has the last thing he should be given is a captains role which in truth i believe he took very seriously and his overall behaviour had improved in fairness as opposed to his past . but the pressure of such a role is impossible for such a person without somewhere down the line it all exploding . such a person will take it all to heart. i have a partner with mental health issues and the similarities are that attention is craved whether it be good or bad. this is obvious in barton with his constant tweeting. lashing out although he has kept this pretty much under control for someone with such responsability. i am not and never will condone the behaviour he has shown especially recently but in my opinion he should take 12-18 months away from football be given specialist help , given medication to help his anxiety and mood issues and then see where it goes from there. in my opinion he is not to blame for what he is or where he has now ended up. the blame for me stops with the past management for heaping unnecessary responsibility on someone incapable of handling it. i just hope his name does not spell trouble for the start of our new season to come.

will the start of this season replicate the last. on 12:08 - Jun 5 with 2208 views | tom007 | with the trouble continuously now brewing up like a train flying down the track without brakes. if he continues without help it will get worse far quicker than it will get better. if he is allowed to come back after 12 or so matches and i am not saying he will the club could yet find a way to get him out but if not and he is included in the 25 man squad. if he does get worse will we as a club be fined , deducted points for discipline who knows the list is endless someone somewhere will get fed up with the unnecessary of it all and have to put a stop to it and that could be those in charge of the premiere league.
will the start of this season replicate the last. on 12:09 - Jun 5 with 2202 views | RANGERS4EVER | It certainly will not . we have a brilliant owner with a quality manager with two months to bring in the players we need . We have time to prepare and build as a team and it's certainly not going to be ruined by some idiot who isn't even playing the first half of the season

I agree, thought he had turned the corner after the Liverpool game. I am one of the few that would stick with him. Yes, he almost blew it for us at city but Tevez was as much to blame but got away scot free. Barton was aggressively checking his run and arms by both sides were thrown. After that there is no excusing what happened but it happens in football. (just nt the bit after the red) Would I give him another chance......... Yes. He proved he ad broad shoulders after the grief he took whilst being subbed against Liverpool, my money is he can do it again.
| Dont know why we bother. .... but we do! |

I hope we just offload him and I think his behavior should reduce the value of his contract, but it may take an expensively won legal precedent to allow us to offload him at reasonable cost. I don't see why MH should be lumbered with Warnock's ill advised addition to the squad of a disruptive nutter and I don't think its QPR's job to deal with his mental health issues. Apart from the Barton issue I think Mark Hughes is aware of the need to ensure key signings are recognised and made early so we can bed them in with a good pre-season and allow time for players who are no longer part of the squad to find new clubs. I and most of our fans I hope are happy to trust the owners and manager to do what is right for the club during this summer which is such a great thing to be able to say after the shambles this time last year.
