Tragic news, awful, but hardly surprising given how unstable Egypt is atm. They're know as the ultras over there that team's fans, does sound like the police werent prepared enough, surely given whats going on there already, should have been enough warning that something may happen.

Life is a game of fate.

as with any revolution be careful what you wish for...country in chaos, young disenchanted young males seeking a purpose ,mob mentality and the footy ground is a perfect site for festering anti state ,anti police politics.

Truly shocking

Reading the reports it looks far more to do with sporadic football violence between two sets of supporters with an inherent dislike for each other...than a political stance against the regime of the country.

In which case, who gives a f**k if they're dead - not one ounce of sympathy if they were intent on trouble.

Absolutely awful if there were any innocents but for those who were up for it - f**k em.

It might not have been a political riot in itself, but the recent political stress certainly acted as a catalyst. It's no coincidence that one of the teams' gang of 'Ultras' was heavily involved in bringing down Mubarak. I know someone who's only just come back from Egypt and he said rioters were everywhere. It'd only take a very slight spark (such as a bit of football machismo) to develop what should be a normal event into an absolute catastrophe, as happened in this unfortunate scene.

Further to this... there's some fantastic bargains to be had if anyone fancies a holiday in Egypt this year!

To say it's only two lines long, there is so much wrong with your statement!

As it is, I don't like the way you're taking the discussion so I'll go no further.
