Morrison, anyone notice? 19:01 - Nov 30 with 6995 viewsWilkinswatercarrier

Since his return:

No defeats in 3 games
1 goal conceded in 3 games

Looks like the real deal.

He's excellent. He'll have nightmares about missing the chance that their keeper had superbly saved from Celar but blimey, he looks so solid and reads the game so well for such a young player. A relief to have a player of this type alongside Cook and with JCS hopefully back soon we have some good options but yes, very impressive and really quick around the pitch.

Never knowingly right.

Waitrose in our box, Iceland in theirs. I like him.

I think he's been a big part of the sudden recent stability.

Also he's not quick but he does cover a huge amount of ground on his way to doing mostly good solid, sensible things.

Yep, looked much better since he came back.

Fine player. We look a lot better with a solid defence.
We play on the front foot a lot more when we donā€™t look like conceding.
Paal sadly the only disappointment today . The weak link.

Looks like a good player to me, very calm and assured on the ball and has a decent passing ability. Heā€™s been well schooled at Bayern, can see him and JCS as the two in the centre of a four.

Our summer signings are starting to get used too the pace and physicality of this league. Hopefully we can keep improving and get ourselves into a better league position.
If todayā€™s performance is anything to go on, better results are coming.

I think he has helped us whilst JCS had been out and his calmness and distribution is very good. I think he is going to be the long term replacement for Cook and actually wouldn't mind seeing him play with JCS. At the same time his transition into the first team might have been easier with having Cook alongside him. Would be interesting to see the three of them together in a back 3

Makes the timing of his injury all the more frustrating. Heā€™s looking good although tired towards the end.

Promising young player who is already up to speed as being of the standard required to be a steady decent championship centre half.

He will be a solid performer for us, hopefully for at least the next two or three seasons, at least.

Said elsewhere heā€™s the knack of going through games not being noticed which is superb for some CBā€™s

Today he was noticed
Terrible miss but in his day job was superb; one covering challenge to stop a Watford breakaway in front of the dugouts was immense

Itā€™s a yes from me

Cherish and enjoy life.... this ain't no dress rehearsal

The added bonus is he can also play in midfield in the Field role.

You might be right as he's good with the ball but there's no record I've seen of him playing at DCM.

Getting such a positive press now that he lives on love street, lingers long on love street, he has a house and garden , I would like to see what happensā€¦.

He has wisdom and knows what to do - he has me and he has ā€¦ā€¦ā€¦.. YOU!!!

Perhaps not that surprising given his pedigree, and he had looked good before his injury, but I'm pleased we were able to pick him up. After all, this is someone Bayern Munich signed. I wonder why no-one else was in for him - had he had injury problems?

Such a shame he got injured same time as JCS. Iā€™m sure we would of had more points had that not been the case.

In many ways it feels like he just got into town about an hour ago, with barely enough time to take a look around and see which way the wind blow, let alone get a proper sense of any of the local female residents in their Shepherds Bush bungalows.

So even more impressive in that sense.

He was out for 3 months in the 22/23 season with ligament damage while at Bayern. In the 23/24 season he played 35 games on loan at Wigan without any injury issues. This season he missed 9 games with a knee injury.

Whether he'll turn out to be injury prone remains to be seen.

What's also impressive is that he's not playing on his natural side. He is constantly having to make a decision; Have I got time to move this onto my preferred foot, before I move the ball on or do I need to play it quick with my weaker foot?

I think he's looking really good and I counted just three errors yesterday.
1.The miss.
2.He misjudged one, out of several, of his challenges, where he moves forward to intercept or tackle early.
3.He put one long pass down the line, with his left foot, into touch.

I think if all of our cbs are fit, it's going to be very difficult to leave him out.
