They still know what you spend. And I doubt they're all that interested in whether you're in the local Spar or the local knocking shop.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

I will never understand why anyone won't believe the BBc but will believe some person tey never heard of on the WWW.

These conspiracies, some of them will be reall but for the most part it's nonsense.

Take my theory about the rich and powerful. They run the world, they keep the rest of us in our places, they are happy to see racism, homophobia or whatever else because it takes our attention away form the fact that the rich are getting richer and buying governments off. They don't wan tus to be like China because we are too used to the freedoms the Chinese lost a long time back, if they went that far we'd rebel. They want this status quo to remain where we carry on working for their benefit. It's not a new world order, it's the way it's always been.

Conspiracy theorists believe what they want to believe. It is as simple as that, whether it's 9/11, covid or Elvis being alive.

I hate covid and everything that comes with it, I'd love it to be a conspiracy theory of false positive tests or government control. It's completely obvious it isn't.

I think the second wave in the UK put pay to most of the purveyors of this nonsense, they have to revert to transhumanism in Peru now. I can't believe I've written that sentence. People actually believe this stuff.

The BBC, academics, China, Trump, Ardern, Putin and my mates who are Dr's are all in on it but some unqualified nut job on a Christian right wing blog has actually uncovered the truth. Of course.

The Internet is dangerous.

It is laughable. If a vaccine is one way of taking these clowns out of society I'm all for it.

Since 2017, all new UK banknotes are issued with embedded RFID which, coupled with facial recognition on the private/public CCTV infrastructure, now gives authorities completely revamped means to track cash payments. Some issues still exist with synchronisation, but in urban areas they reckon they capture between 88-92% of all cash transactions undertaken, slightly less in rural. For captured transactions, about 80% are linked to a verified biometric/digital ID.

Not even your cash transactions are safe.

Such a pointless effort, they track you through the chip they put in your head when you were a baby

Then, that car you paid cash for, does it have an onboard computer? It definitely has a number plate so the ANPR cameras on theroads will track you.

Most shops have CCTV these days, besides the CCTV in the street so they can track you wherever you go.

The fact you try so hard to avoid being tracked probably makes you a person of interest and means they watch your every step, you could be a terrorist!

Just my opinion, but WTF do I know anyway?

Now here's a thought for you, if the governments control things and manipulate what the mainstream media reports, what make you think a stranger on the internet is being honest with you?

How do you know Russo isn't a CIA stooge? Or just a lunatic and a fantasist?

The answer is you don't so why would you believe him any more than anybody else. These things you claim are happening, have you actually seen any proof first hand? Or is it just a video you watched online?

These things you claim, they are things you want to believe in the same way most of us want to believe in the vaccine. Who is right, wel you think you are but we'll see.

The thing about money, most money is spent electronically these days and we've been heading towards 100% cashless for ages. It'll take a while to get there but it will happen one day. Some people aren't happy with it, specially criminals and tax avoiders.

The Chinese model means armed troops on the streets, the way our government is going there'll be no troops left to put out there!

That's where you are wrong the chinese monitor their population through mass cctv surveillance and through vast amounts of data trawled through everyday transactions which they then subject to algorithms which produce a kind of profile of each and every citizen they dont need armed troops . Every citizen is given a credit score for good behaviour- poor behaviour in the eyes of the party = less reward .
Poor behaviour are things like meeting people who the state deem are not patriotic or even jaywalking these could result in not being able to access public transport or take an internal flight or apply for a visa to travel abroad for a period of time or a visit from the state police ....sound familiar ?
I see POTENTIALLY god forbid , the same sort of parallels in this country -masses of cameras, cashless card transactions especially since "covid" , anpr, smart motorways , smart phones , the deliberate division of society into the perceived "good "and "bad" citizen ( E.G one who volunteers for the jab and one who doesn't ) and of course the restrictions and lockdowns associated with the virus and the ever burgeoning and intrusion of the nanny state . In short we have turned from a nation of doers into a nation of being told what to do .
I don't want to believe in any of this , far from it but I can see the dangers - Technology provides the means not only for great good but also for the possibility to wield power in a way that was unimaginable a few years ago and put it into the hands of a few.
You have blind faith in an untried vaccine with no clinical trials against a virus that originated no one knows where - That is your prerogative not mine.

My sister in law is Chinese. She's from a very patriotic military family. Both her Father and Brother reached very senior ranks. She was a nurse in the Chinese army for several years.

She married a reformed petty criminal from Penlan, a bloke who spent most of his late teens and early twenties in prison. Do you think her marrying him would be considered "bad behaviour"?

Her life would demonstrate otherwise, she travels in to China every year to keep her military pension in tact and check her apartment in Tianjin is in good nick. She earns a decent amount from it, she doesn't need to work.

That post regarding China is completely untrue.

The vaccines are proven through full clinical trials and are safe and effective.

There isn't a huge amount of mystery as to where the virus originated, it came from a bat via another animal. We'll probably never find the exact animal but that's as much as we need to know.

Stop posting this complete rubbish.

You are correct about this country to an extent. Fascism creeps in slowly. CCTV cameras everywhere, a law to prevent boisterous protesting, next will be compelled speech as they have in Canada. People getting offended at anything and the minority dictating to the majority. If it wasn't for family, I would be out of this country tomorrow.

Hi Boundy.
Any visit to Berlin is worth worth while.
Contro needs to go to the Stasi museum. It says all one needs to know from the Trabbie interview van in the foyer ,to the Kid's movement room to ensure the Socialist State was aware if anyone was not loyal east German.

You are missing two clear distinctions . Left wing labour were in power for 13 years and they had no problems installing CCTV cameras throughout the UK. Labour's London mayor has also installed thousands . London probably has more per head of the population than the rest of the UK.

Good afternoon to you sir. Never been to Berlin which is a pity as recent history is an interest of mine .But yes if anyone thinks we're oppressed by "them" then i wouldn't swop it for what those on the other side of the iron curtain had to put up with.Strangely enough they were socialists , who'd have thought.

Mr Bound
I like you

I know Berlin very well having had a good chum who originated from east Berlin near to what is now Checkpoint Charlie, adly now a grotesque tourist grot spot for photos and selfies. People forget that in my lifetime ,USA and Russian tanks had a face off there.

His name was Otto and he escaped in a false bottom of a truck and settled in west Berlin before meeting a Swansea girl there -ON an exchange-and moved to Swansea to make a new life. The hardest worker Ive ever seen and one who appreciated freedom. His musing was wasted on callow Swansea youths but I dug him alright.

His catchphrase was,"you bluddy stupid farking bartads mun, nobody escaped to the east .Only spies. You don't know how bluddy farking lucky you are".

The wall went up and he awoke to it . His family were cut off.

The wall went up because the DDR (democratic deutsche republik) ,mind you, was losing scientists and other professions that were seen valuable TO THE STATE. Nobody wanting to be unemployed. It didnt exist. You were only valued if your work benefitted the state. No dissent allowed . People watched people everywhere . People were rewarded for spying on neighbour and they might have got a week in a state chalet in Bulgaria.

The city now is full of historical artifacts and deserves a serious visit. It is not beautiful although there are many interesting buildings . The remnants of the Wall are an education as is the trip to Wannsee where they worked out the final solution.

There ya go.

Do it.

It's the security services....who is watching the watchers?

And really who cares? I have nothing to hide, I am not a criminal. Aside from a few MPH over the limit now and again the worst thing I do is sometimes mix up the recycling. I was taking the mick with that post but honestly, those people who try so hard NOT to be watched or tracked, they are far more likely to come to someones attention and they'll ask why? What have you got to hide?

If they want to watch me buying new pants or chocolate Hobnobs they are more than welcome.
If they want to watch me going to fetch my wife from work, have they nothing better to do?

But when there's a crash on the roads, when some scumbag rapes that girl or mugs that OAP, when some dirtbag sells drugs that kills someones kid, then I say put more cameras up. If it leaves us safe and free to walk the streets without fear then I'm all for it.

Just my opinion, but WTF do I know anyway?

If you are not a criminal then why are you being watched and suspected as being one.

I realise there is no expectation of privacy in public, but then there's nothing wrong in trying to mask your activities either.

If you have nothing to hide why do you use an nick on here instead of your real name? You are doing the very thing you are arguing against.
