Perfectly summed up the situation in the 'lifes-a-beach' blog, especially in relation to proceding with the new surface with FA support this coming week.

Good to read a balanced view of how the press deal with elite and lower league football. How anyone would expect Pochettino to understand life at L1 level when our own press don't is beyond me. I don't believe he was being disrespectful, simply misinformed, but it brings out a whole bagful of small-mindedness that lies dormant just waiting for a game such as this to rear its head. I'm sure that as the fixture takes place, it'll be clear there's no disrespect felt by anyone within Rochdale FC from the Spurs players & officials. I sincerely hope the same will be said on our part.
