Few decent ankle taps by the opposition but he managed to avoid going down. Probably our best athlete ever now, if not before.
Go mo on 21:18 - Aug 12 with 3226 views | D_Alien | Just like Bolt last Saturday, tonight proved a race too far for Mo, but when he gets over the disappointment he can look back on an unprecedented track career in distance running Looking forward to Usain's final farewell now. Hope his team-mates put him in with a chance on the anchor leg [Post edited 12 Aug 2017 21:21]

Brilliant by the GB team but what a sad way for a legends career to end.

Go mo on 22:38 - Aug 12 with 3119 views | 1mark1 | Truly magnificent performance by our relay teams, and for the men to be world champions. Such a shame for the great man Bolt to go out like that. End of an era, greatest sprinter of all time. Fantastic effort from Sir Mo. In the end, it was the effort that it took to win the 10k that did for him, as that had been a fast , brutal race. Brilliant performance by Edris to beat him. Without doubt Britain's greatest ever middle distance runner , and one of the worlds best ever. Farewell to the Usain, from Athletics, and farewell to Mo, from the track, and good luck on the roads. Thanks for the golden memories to you both.

It all added to a brilliant night of Drama which is what it should be about. Yes it was sad but what drama. Overall it has been a great week. Bolt loses his crown to the pantomime villain, farewell to the last of the great generation, unexpected relay gold + dramatic Body injury in the same race Let's see what happens tonight but I have thoroughly enjoyed it so far

Yes yet again, the World Athletic Championships have produced fantastic sport, plenty of drama, and amazing performances. And there is such a wide mix of different countries that are involved in the mix for medals.
