Unnecessary reaction from Pardew? on 21:50 - Jan 7 with 3833 views | QPR442 | My Palace mate said that Pardew was a dick. It was only that goal against Liverpool in the cup semi final that made him and most of the fans before that goal thought he was s&&t.
Unnecessary reaction from Pardew? on 22:10 - Jan 7 with 3769 views | BrianMcCarthy | He's in more dire need of a blow job than any white man in history. From Warnock's point of view, however, he can hardly be surprised and probably couldn't care less. That's what you get when you play the media game.

Unnecessary reaction from Pardew? on 11:51 - Jan 8 with 3161 views | adhoc_qpr | I think Wickham is their top scoring striker with one goal currently - clearly no way Austin could improve that team...
Unnecessary reaction from Pardew? on 11:54 - Jan 8 with 3151 views | Antti_Heinola | Pardew's a dick, and he's also wrong. As a striker, Austin is easily better than the ones he's listed there. Palace have great attacking abilities - with Charlie there too they'd have a tremendous strike force. He's mad not to try for him.

Unnecessary reaction from Pardew? on 13:20 - Jan 8 with 3047 views | stevestrange | All depends on the context in which Warnock said what he said. Was he asked directly if Austin should go to Palace ? Or was he offering his opinion, without being asked anything about Austin or Palace.
Unnecessary reaction from Pardew? on 13:32 - Jan 8 with 3024 views | Juzzie | Either he's a dick or is actually interested and trying to play it down so much so not to get dragged into a bidding war. I think the former.

Unnecessary reaction from Pardew? on 13:53 - Jan 8 with 2950 views | A40Bosh | Putting aside whether or not there has or has not been previous approaches by Palace for Charlie Austin and he has rejected them and there is bad blood, blah blah blah that is all gossip at best ......., let's look at his comment about Austin, not NW, at face value, in terms of when Pardew was asked. Charlie is recovering from another injury, albeit he has put in some shifts over the last couple of seasons, but in some people's eyes, they will see an injury prone striker who cannot quite get away from the negative publicity around his lack of knee quality. Now we know he is our goal machine and when he is out we suffer, so for us he is our savior and our hero. However, from the outside, if you are looking for a striker you are going to look at a number of factors. 2015/2016 we have played 25 league games of which Charlie has played at least some part in 16. That leaves 9 games, or 36% of the season so far he has missed either through injury or not being risked post injury. And we are only just through the Christmas break. So maybe our goal machine isn't the man Palace are willing to take a risk on. Pardew is a cock though - no doubt about it.

Looks to me like Austin turned him down in the summer so he is making a point in not buying him now, daft decision but does us a favour as without Austin we're going down

Fair point but as Pardew himself says they have other options, so they could afford to pick up Charlie (who is pretty cheap given his quality versus other unknown quantities) and they wouldn't be in trouble if he did pick up a few injuries here and there.
Unnecessary reaction from Pardew? on 15:06 - Jan 8 with 2812 views | A40Bosh | .........but that is assuming that the purse they have open has sufficient funds to "fund" more than one striker. I think what Pardew is saying is that during January you have to be realistic and look around and be honest as to who you are likely to get and for what price and compare that with what you already have. Palace are not going to get Lukaku from Everton or Kane, Vardy, Giroud, probably not Ighalo from Watford etc so anyone they are likely to get is not going to be 1st first choice or even 2nd choice and playing that regularly in the Premier League or comparable league on the continent - unless they start throwing silly money around. Therefore Charlie could be deemed a big risk, even if he is cheap, as the money could be "better" used to help fund a more expensive player from a Premier Club.

didn't say he wasn't, but you have to admit he has made more than a few rude and arrogant comments himself. As Clive said, both love to be quoted.

As much as i respect and love the fella Pardew is right,NW should mind his own business, its not his job to tell AP how to run his FC. Brian thats very unlike you to use the colour of someones skin to make a humerous point. Thats a collectors item that is
