Great read although it was pretty clear that the fire alarms were false and I still believe the protestors should have left the pitch.

Love your blogs Curryman - keep them coming - shame you're not a ST holder as the Fans Parliament could do with someone like you!

BenJen, I am a season ticket holder, I was one of the idiots who fell for the two year deal. However, I wouldn't measure up to the requirements for the Parliament as I only score 78% with annoyed. Besides, it holds no interest for me at all.

Sticking "apologies" on the BFC OS, Like some mad medieval feudal baron, trying to scare the local peasants by hanging his latest victims bodies from the walls of the castle tower, made my blood boil.

Curryman, There's one thing that's not an enigma. You won't be Turing around Deepdale this season, mate!

Ha ha ha, I just have a picture in my mind of you scrambling around at home for pencil and paper in order to decipher the last message. Out of interest, I've currently nearly finished reading the book about Turing , on which the recent film was based, and could not recommend it to anyone without a grade AAAA plus degree in advanced Mathematics, one of the worst books I've ever read. A lot of it is pure gibberish to me and certainly went way over my head. Probably shows how poorly ejukated i wuz. As for Deep wotsit, can't say I'll miss it, but good luck to you.

No, I worked it out in my head, as my mother worked on the enigma project. Actually, the first bits a lie. A pen and paper, were required! However, the second bit is true, although she did'nt know it at the time. She was in the Royal Corps of Signals, based in Harrogate. They were intercepting German transmissions and sending them to Bletchley Park, for decoding. She never told us what she did until the 30 year rule was up! Not sure your Parliament/Politburo is going to solve your problems. But I do wish you the best of luck!
