It's strange knowing that Spurs paid far over the odds for a number of players over the years, in some cases (Lamela) probably £25-30m over the odds, yet they're unprepared to pay a couple of million extra for a young, home grown and promising left back.

Levy is good at getting a fee when a club needs to sell. Spurs got fecked over last year with the bale money and are trying to be billy big bollux with us to no effect it seems.
