Some players need a lucky break when it comes to their career.

Think for the short time he has been with us, 2 loan periods, he has done enough to get a 3 year deal.

Made a big impact in the short time he has been given on both occasions, winner against Cardiff last time around and now he just helped keep us in prem. Relatively cheap and Monk believes in him.

Sign him up. Only 25, plenty more to come I reckon.

Will be a good option from the bench when we get a proper alternative in.

More upper body strength would benefit all our smaller players

Deserves a contract. Looked a far better and more effective player during this spell than he did the first time he was here.

I think the opposite actually. Saw him as a potentially integral player back then, and scored a couple of critical goals. Now he's filler. Might be a more natural time for him to come here permanently though.

He did OK without making me think that we should have been looking to bring him in permanently at that time. Goal against Cardiff aside, of course.

Looks a better player to me now.

Agree with this.

He is giving his all and effective with it. Sign him up Garry, won't have too many complaints about that. Cheap as chips as well.

Marvin is a fantastic impact player, who I thought would do well this season. Who is his biggest critic step forward Tomdickharry, yes the same guy who had a vendetta against Luke Moore and has the football knowledge of Vincent Tan.

I'd be more then happy with Emnes signing, looks to have a good understanding with Bony.

Borini and Moore as 2nd/3rd choice strikers to Wilf next year and we is sorted!

In reply to Snork44,Emnes and a good game today granted and it will probably earn him a contract but always remember one swallow doesn't make a summer, if I am proved wrong over a protracted period will be the first to admit it. Regarding Moore no vendetta just an opinion which I reserve the right to hold.

To be fair he's won 2 penalties and scored a goal from little more than (I would guess) 4 compete games.

Had more impact than Vasquez and Shechter put together which is all we really need from him.

I definitely also think Emnes looks sharper and more capable than his previous stint here. I also think he has the right attitude, he really made the most out of his loan period.

He's just another in a long line of examples of players who thrive here and struggle elsewhere

Marvin should start on Saturday before the pointless most inconsistent player we've ever had Hernandez.

I prefer Emnes on pitch supporting Bony, than Hernandez.

They look a stronger unit and much more of a threat.

The future looks bright. Keeping Bony is massive to our next season.

I'd sign Emnes up. He's done enough, for me, to show he's a useful squad player.

Cheap, happy to be here, knows the club and the manager likes him.

He's won us 2 of our 4 penalties this season in two sub appearances and got a goal today after 15 minutes. That's 3 goals in about 45 minutes!

If Menes is welsh for Emnes, then I agree.

The penalty won against Newcastle was a turning point.

Couldn't believe it when we signed him, but in my eyes he has earned himself a contract, glad he has proved me wrong. Never going to set the world alight but a good squad player, and I get the impression the rest of squad have a lot of time for him.
