I know we had to sell him (thanks FFP) but it crushed my then 6 year old son. He adored Eze and still talks about him now even though he only saw him play a handful of times. Within the first 20 minutes of his first ever game, he picked out Eze really quickly as the player who was head & shoulders above everyone else.

Yes I remember the first time we saw him play, I was there with my son and we'd read about his "journey" and latest release from Millwall - my boy just said "What the hell were Millwall looking at?"

Mind you a fellow sitting near us maintained he was "useless" his entire time with the club...
