Elyounoussi 19:37 - Oct 17 with 2560 views | robcoe5 | Can anyone tell me what he offers Watched him Sunday and he doesn’t get forward into the box or create anything, he is always the last person to get back and defend Has no pace, regularly loses the ball. I think his performances is effecting all the midfield players especially ward prowe
Elyounoussi on 20:00 - Oct 17 with 2517 views | sledger | hes reverted to how he was when he first came into the premier league, the game was and is just to physical and quick and just goes on around him
Elyounoussi on 21:22 - Oct 17 with 2464 views | Mrangry25 | He offers bugger all and is a waste of a shirt, he should have been hauled off on Sunday instead of Aribo. I am getting seriously pi**ed watching him not tackle, not track back, not create anything.

Elyounoussi on 09:26 - Oct 18 with 2290 views | DorsetIan | Elyounnoussi is not the quickest physically but I think he reads the game well and when he gets the ball under his control, he is good at linking up play intelligently.

I know it's not fashionable to say positive things about him, but I thought he played pretty well on Sunday.

Elyounoussi on 12:48 - Oct 18 with 2177 views | I_would | He either has plenty of touches, gives the ball to the opposition in dangerous places and runs around a lot and achieves nothing or he doesn't touch the ball and gives the ball to the opposition in dangerous places and achieves nothing. Tqke your pick. Another reason why Ralph has to go along with his desire to play Walcott. 19th by Sunday with this manager.

Elyounoussi on 12:59 - Oct 18 with 2158 views | felly1 | Thought he played quite well first half on Sunday. Overall this season he hasn't done enough to convince me. | | | | Login to get fewer ads
Elyounoussi on 13:05 - Oct 18 with 2151 views | DorsetIan | The last time we were winning regularly (early last seaosn) he tended to be in the starting 11. I don't think he's the problem.

Prowsey is the problem. Hasn't had a good game this season.

He used to play his best alongside Romeu and, as you say, he helped us get some good results, but without him, he looks a bit lost. Our whole midfield is just too lightweight now and easily brushed aside. [Post edited 18 Oct 2022 16:11]

Correct. Midfield is our biggest problem. With Lavia missing there's no aggression, no one protecting the the back four, no creativity, our poor strikers are being starved of decent opportunities. We didn't realise how much the side relied on Oriel Romeu. JWP has lost his protector & it shows, he is very poor this season. Even his set pieces are very average. Elynoussi is not a midfield player because its not natural for him to track back & provide cover. Aribo is not a midfield player, despite his couple of goals, I'm yet to be convinced about him or what he offers. Diallo just not good enough Maitland Niles doesn't really want to be here. We should have made every effort to keep Romeu & also given the promising Smallbone an opportunity instead of loaning him out.

Agreed, he is bl**dy useless, we aren't that good to be able to carry anyone, we need all 10 outfield players pulling their weight.
