Richard Langley.

Circa 2004 we played an evening home game and I think the midfield consisted wholly of QPR fans, not sure seen that before or since

Cook / Gallen / Bircham / Miller

He was Liverpool as a kid

Gerry Francis was born in Queen Charlotte's, but I never recall any mention of him supporting the R's.

Barnes used to play on SA Road on those pitches hoping QPR would notice him I think. Marcus Gayle certainly was a QPR fan.
Graham Poll and Mark Halsey from the refs union.
Wasn't Sam Parkin a QPR fan?

I saw Sam Parkin in the R Block about 10 years ago.

Wally Downes.

I used to play football with him in Wormholt Park as a kid and often saw him in the Loft.

Pretty sure don shanks was a fan too, he’s from the white city estate, think I heard him talk about how he used to go and watch marsh etc.

I remember an article on Paul Merson where all his boyhood heroes played for us. He didn't actually say he was a fan but it sounded like he spent time watching Stan and the rest.

I'm pretty sure I've read Gerry Francis saying we have always been his club since he was a kid.

Contrariwise I think Les Ferdinand said that he didn't support us as a boy because our scouts at the time just weren't interested in the black kids in White City.

Asked him personally about that. He was a QPR fan.

Bare bones.

Charlie Oatway's mum sends a letter to the programme (last game v Leeds '74). Considering it's sent from 81b Loftus Road I wonder if she used a stamp or dropped it off on the way to the shops.

They lived in the house directly right of the entrance to the lower loft.

Barnes and Pearce? Really? Had no idea...

Football always talks about players having 'boyhood clubs' which I never understand - do you stop supporting a team when you get older??

John Barnes went to St.Marylebone Grammar, I was a few years above him & used to run rings around him in the playground!
That school never played football, it was rugger & cricket.

Unfortunately Merson is a Chelscum fan.

Smells like a trout farm in here

I think Stan was friends of the Wise family and they had kickabouts together in the back garden.

Dave Beasant the Wimbledon keeper.
Born in Willesden, I'm sure I've heard he was a supporter.

You don't see people's full addresses in letters pages anymore!

Did you have to bring GDPR into this?

Ipswich "legend" Simon Milton was and presumably still is a Rangers fan.... Jamie Pollack??

I (regretfully) read his autobiography once, and he talks about his driver being a massive QPR fan who refused to visit Chelsea with him.
