This could be an historic match with Dale possibly attaining it's highest ever place in the League. On that basis alone I should have made the early trip, but I didn't. I think not having a possible play-off place to play for knocked the stuffing out of me. That is not to say that I am still very pleased with our season and so proud of our team.
I hope it is an historic game and that the Dale supporters have a fantastic day and Keith get's one over on Barnsley.

Brace yourself... Whitey is coming.
The same Whitey who has recently been bleating about how Dale were bound to win today? 'Fraid I can't be cheery after a 5-0 defeat. Better Hill had gone on holiday. And I'd have preferred to see a southern club relegated rather than County (though Colchester's win has created the possibility of Preston in L1 next season).

Whitey said the same before the fixture at Spotland
He'll be banging on about kidology (although hopefully me typing that might prevent him)
We must defend our set pieces better next season. I know we haven't got a JOC but that position will be the first one to sort out. Ofcourse having Logan back will help loads.

Why would he be treated in either of those ways?
He picked up two mandatory yellow cards, one of which could have been avoided, so he was hardly a hero.
Bollocking him would have served no purpose either.
I imagine most people never even noticed him.
That first yellow card is still bloody annoying me! Pointless challenge. Unless we stop making these choices we have another season of completing far too many games with less than eleven players on the pitch.
