With 4 changes to through injury and suspension this was going to be a test of our squad. I think we held our own. Although never really seemed likely to win it by more than a single goal.

Fulham matched us for intensity. Both teams seemed to cancel each other out. No one had much time on the ball. Both teams lacked a bit of quality up front.

Diallo looked good. Got caught out taking too much time and got bumped off the ball several times but did some neat passing and played lots of simple balls. The airshot was unfortunate.

Shane Long seemed anonymous in the first half but almost nicked it in the second half. JWP almost got a wonder goal, Che almost turned it in.

This game was brought to us by the word 'almost'.

Oh well, on to West Ham COYR!

A real bore draw. Nothing much to say, really. We gave them opportunities they never took. We created few opportunities. Diallo looks to be a tidy passer but, like Walcott, he appears to be too easily knocked off the ball. Our defence worked hard and Stephens didn't let the side down. N'Lundulu came on but, isn't listed above. He needs more than four minutes.

We were soild but missed Ings and JV badly and Ralph knew it. We set up for a 1-0 and ended with a 0-0. 7/10 it woudl have been 1-0. Both the goals ruled out where impressively clinical finishes and how was that not a handball. He clearly leant into it and that is listed in the rules.

Watching bednarek and stephens try to pass forward only made you miss the big Dane more! They tried, but he really has become one our our most potent weapons.

Finally why is Anguissa scoring so low. He was the best player on the pitch and bossed our midfield, tackling and cutting out pass after pass. Kudos to JWP for being everywhere, and Diallo was good second half. Armstrong was solid and had brief glimpses. Much as I can see the potentail in KWP, it is hand in the mouth time whenever he is pressed and other teams are starting to work that out.
