I think we would have had a better chance of winning if Ward Prowse had played.

As soon as l saw the starting line up l new we were going to be in trouble. You can’t win with little too no offense on the pitch and that has been the problem for us over the past games.
Why oh why we can’t at least try starting Onuachu for once leaves me wondering if this manager lost the plot or never figured out that you need a goal scorer to score goals.I can’t see us pulling a miracle out the hat so l am inclined to say that it’s too late.

Well we suck, plan and simple. Like I have been saying for the last 4 weeks, we can't score, so it is no use. Theo should have scored and Aribo too. Why Sulemana is on the pitch I have no idea. He gave the ball away over 6 times in the first half alone. Yeah, same old same junk. We pass the ball too slowly and NOBODY makes the channel run and the player with the ball makes a good pass. Hard to believe but the only player who showed anything was Theo. Well Championship here we come and hung up the jersey for the season.

Ive watched this performance since the mid eighties. We look really good in the first half, fail to take any chances. We then let a goal in and turn into headless chickens.

The earlier versions of the chickens used to run about a bit tho.

Starting a must win game leaving your new striker on the bench and then when you bring him on fail to play to his strengths are quite some tactics.

AMN is not a full back, JWP isn't a captain and Bazunu is several years from being a PL standard goalkeeper. Plus Lavia has one setting slow.

Sports Republic are learning the hard way that different isn't always better.

We march on....to the Championship.

What a load of rubbish that was.
Starting Aribo when he's barely featured in the squad let alone played .
You looked at the line up and could there's no way we are scoring .
Why not start Moussa??
What a joke of a club we've become.
Spend 22 million on a worse version of Tella who cost nothing...mental.
League 1 kid in goal.
No centre forward starting a match that you have to win???
Why not give
Jack Stephen's slated on here as a championship player yet as we head to the championship without him he plays a big part keeping our rivals up in the Prem!!

That was as bad as anything that was served up by Nathan Jones. Too many sideways and backwards passes. Too many players look uncomfortable on the ball and couldn’t bring it under control quickly. How have we ended up with a squad that is so low on quality? This team would struggle in the Championship let alone the Premier League!

Might as well just cut and paste comments from the West Ham game. At least we have a new system - playing 4-2-4 with no forwards. RS is absolutely clueless and was shouting jibberish at the crowd as well as the players today. As usual far too easy to play against and just wait for a mistake. What is really disappointing however and really hard to take is the lack of urgency and commitment when we do fall behind. They could at least try.

I’m done for the season - why should I put in the effort & spend my hard earned when the majority of the players & manager don’t give a s**t.

Me too I think. Just too painful. It's a 5 hour round trip for every home match and it's just not enjoyable with that kind of performance. We are just not good enough. Palace looked ordinary and yet won easily in the end. A word for the ref. Without doubt the best there is. Quiet, unassuming and gets nearly everything right. So much better than some of the rubbish we've had this season.

How have those players the nerve to accept their pay. Abysmal performance, tippy tappy from Bazuna to Bednarekto velka koptcha to walker Peters to ward prowse to bednarek to Bella koptcha tk Bazuna to Bednarek, FFS get the f***ing ball up the front, then reach the players how to identify the goal ( you know thatbiv rectangular thing with a net on the back) and shoot

Thanks SR. Your mad-professor experiments have sent us down. Everyone apart from you knew we had big problems at the end of last season. We ended up with the least experienced manager on the planet and a squad of waifs and strays without a leader or a forward amongst them. A total catastrophe - let's not blame individual managers or players but let's blame the people responsible: SR. With such clowns in charge I think it would be a big mistake to think we will be back up quickly. They will probably buy some cut-price youngsters in the summer....

Absolutely spineless Bazunu how the hell can he play every premier. League match simply not good enough. And to start without forwards, god help !

Gutless, soulless, boring, sh*t football. We richly deserve to be relegated. I'm crossing the New Forest to support Cherries until July.

Bednarek obviously has not been told that we need to win this game. His woeful slow play, tippy tappy upset everyone. I am not impressed with Onuachu but if he is on the field why did no one try to utilise his height and get the ball to him? Sadly this has seen any hope of playing premiership football virtually disappear.
We might as well start with a few promising youngsters in our next matches.

The game's heat map shows the area between our 18 yard box and the half way line as the area that most of the game was played in !!

A few other observations.......

- No point dropping Bazunu now - it is too late
- Why didn't Sulemana change his boots / studs ? Slipped 3 or 4 times in crucial areas
- Who was striker, Alcaraz or Aribo ? Or was that part of the master plan ?
- We played into Palace's hands
- Tall Paul and Aribo could not control a bag of cement
- We were relegated on the day we lost 1-0 at home to Forest in early January
