I watched the highlights of the U21 game v Ipswich with Larios in the side. He appears in 2 clips. In both of those the Ipswich lad goes past him like he isn't there. Larios is another of our midgets so you'd hope he has some pace to make up for it, but there was no sign of that. I guess from his origins he's good with the tippy tappy, but so far I struggle to see how he has what it takes to be a defender in the PL. |  | | |

Quite right, for example Szmodics has just been snapped up from the Championship for a base fee of £9m. I get what Nick is saying in that SC did make some positive contributions but who would you have rather spent £10m on last summer or even this summer out of those two? Considering what SS can give you for that sort of money SC doesn’t look great value. |  | | |
