Welsh Tourism 10:58 - Jul 17 with 50561 views | Dr_Winston | https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2023/jul/16/huge-market-untapped-lack-of-vis Already on its knees in recent years thanks to the Welsh Govts unnecessarily heavy Covid restrictions, refusal to deal with M4 congestion and seeming intention to actually make getting around in Wales even harder. To top that off we've still got the mooted tourist tax to come. Is there anything in this country that they can't screw up?

I think contra and I have reached the end of the road. anyone backing a country that supported genocide of a whole country ,in our lifetime .in the Balkans , deserves derision. If you support mother Russia, you do not dispute or ask questions. Hence ,if Serbia obliterates Bosnian Muslims ,then you support that action. Anyway back to Wales

Played cricket with my doctors a few years ago. He stated Indians still had respect for Britain and how the country is still run on basically British law system. They United a country with insititutional caste divisions which remain to this day . No African country has benefited as they should have since leaving the BE. all corrupt and tribal

No African nation was as corrupt as the UK under Johnson …. He took Russian money - why ? Lied about Brexit to avoid new EU tax avoidance laws Corrupted the Met police who knew he was partying against the law Labelled our judges as Enemies of the People Lied to the Queen over Prorogation of Parliament Used VIP Lane to get public money to Tory friends and donors during the pandemic Nobbled the BBC Board with Tory appointees Lied to Parliament multiple times Nominated his brother and father for House of Lords Borrowed money off a long lost cousin as loans from family are not declarable Nominated at 29 year old woman to House of Lords for doing not much Lied about new trade deals that were really rubbish Took the pish with mad Nads as Culture Sec …. Macron even said it was ‘not serious government’ Refused to meet the elected First Ministers of Scotland and Wales Promoted his muscular unionism to by-pass the devolved governments Weaponised racism against migrants for political gain Only Trump has that sort of appalling legacy.

Welsh Tourism on 17:12 - Sep 2 by Kilkennyjack | Wales is not Disneyland, that just a fact. A theme park here and there is not what we are talking about. |
Yes and I never said it was but you chose that route. I said Wales needs attractions only for you to pipe up with the Not Disneyland nonsense. It's about jobs Kilky, how do you propose we create jobs and draw more tourists in? Hang on, I forgot, you don't want tourists in case it's Brenda and Keith.

Well ….. selling ice creams and coffees is very nice indeed. Its not an economy though. Its seasonal for a start. The children of Brenda and Keith already look to the south of Europe rather than wet west wales. Its a busted flush. Wales needs proper investment in technical and digital type skills. You know high value, highly skilled, relatively highly paid modern jobs. AI is going to be massive, why cant wales have its fair share of that ? Renewable energy is another. The universities are there. The talent is there. Just needs uk government to invest for the long term. If wales was indy we could do it ourselves. You stick with trying to get Brenda and Keith to buy an extra bag of chips, but thats not for me.

The Welsh government could invest in those things now. Selling ice creams and coffees provides jobs, people need jobs and not everyone can be employed in the tech sector, the service sector is quite large you know. Those questions you ask are all valid but ask them of the Senedd too. Ask why our infrastructure is so poor and will not be improved which puts businesses off coming to Wales, then ask who is responsible but you know the answer. An economy iver reliant on one sector is unbalanced and weak, a diverse economy is stronger, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Economic_diversity So guess what? Oh you already know mun.

I agree on the Senedd. Balance is essential - yes. The good wages that existed in some of the heavy industries has all but gone. The nations and regions need strategic investments. Almost like we need a Department of Levelling Up. Until then ….. Heathrow Expansion, CrossRail and HS2 etc it is then. The Tory party just don't care.

I’ve given him a thesis to write Africa is a basket case of corruption and Johnson would have been eaten alive by any of the post colonial dictators . He was inept but not evil Some lose it when challenged on here and simply get personal. It’s why I would love to meet my antagonists in the flesh and have it out I almost met one twice but he failed to show . I did meet one and he was a pussy
