Already on its knees in recent years thanks to the Welsh Govts unnecessarily heavy Covid restrictions, refusal to deal with M4 congestion and seeming intention to actually make getting around in Wales even harder. To top that off we've still got the mooted tourist tax to come.

Is there anything in this country that they can't screw up?

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

Look up percentages.
Might help you understand better.

Oh I understand percentages, shame you don't understand democracy.

That was why I pondered if Welsh people living in England balanced things out, I wonder what percentage of them voted leave? With the Welsh in England being of a similar number to the English in Wales then statistically possibly only an extra 11k or so votes were for leave which wouldn't have affected the outcome.

it's nothing like that but you'll push any line won't you.

Ireland found a way because of the post brexit agreement with the UK government. The EU won't be negotiating on our behalf because we are not members.

So you admit Cymru will reach a fair agreement then, WAYHAYYYYY, some sense at last. The other big difference between us and the Baltic states is, we are legally members of a democratic union, we are legally and willingly part of the UK and so any debt taken by the UK is also a debt Wales has a duty to honour, in part.

What you have suggested is akin to a business partership breaking up and one partner refusing to honour their share of the debt.

Cat you have some patience.

Not true.

Cymru has never ever voted to join the blessed union.
Put simply, Cymru was forced to join by force of arms.

If the UK government had Welsh government approval you would have some sort of point.
You are really saying that a uk tory government voted for by england, can give wales a huge debt ? You know labour voting wales….
Perhaps you think that Moscow debts should be borne by the Ukraine ?

The EU would welcome Scotland, Wales and the north of Ireland.

Yes booming.
Great isn’t it ?

The Irish economy is on track to be the best performing in Europe this year in stark contrast to its British counterpart.

Estimates suggest Ireland’s economy will grow by 4.9 per cent this year, buoyed by its competitive position at the westernmost corner of the European Union.

The UK economy, meanwhile, has flatlined and is projected to be firmly at the bottom in the G7 group of advanced economies this year – including sanctions-hit Russia.

UK again the sick man of Europe.

Great? For who exactly .
Have they fully compensated the state sponsored kidnapping and abuse of children .
How do they live with that ?

You prefer the Uk the country that sent children to America as slaves, killed or aided in the killing of millions in India alone, or many numerous atrocities done under the British empire? Your bias and ignorance of basic history is both astounding and hypocritical

From someone clearly supporting a Russian onslaught and overseeing killing of any opposition , think Zi won't be taking any lessons in morality from you
Britain the first colonial power to end slavery
Russia s death squads in the Horn of Africa should tell you something

Ireland.... neutral as a country when all of Europe was fighting fascism

Russia abolished slavery well before we did , in 1723, Just saying! Yes, they had serfs, but we had peasants and factory workers.Just another example of you ignorance of history.

I wasn't giving any lessons on morality, that was your assumption. Not that i would expect you to reply to Britain's historical record on colonialist exploitation and it's numerous atrocities. That would require an element of honesty and humility

When London was in charge of Ireland, 1 million people starved to death.

Nothing else in Irish history comes close to that London inspired genocide.

Many other nations also stand testiment to horrific abuse from London under Empire.
Reparations are needed.
